House Passes Gas…..tax
This was the title of a news report. It would be funny except that it is all too true.
But is it really a surprise?
There has been nothing but hot air that carries a stench coming from Olympia ever since the Queen Governor was installed as the latest Democrat to rule Washington State.
If the Democrats have all the answers and have done such a wonderful job here, why are there so many unresolved problems? Problems few other states have at this level?
They can’t do their job protecting children, they can’t keep spending in check, they can’t do anything without raising taxes, and most of all they can’t have an election that isn’t rife with fraud.
And I’m not even beginning to touch on the problems with the high school drop out rate or the fact that Washington rates down near the bottom in quality of healthcare.
So if this state is so full of brilliant, capable people and the Democrats have all the answers…….why are very few things working as they should?
If they want to raise taxes, why not have a billionaire tax. That’s right, just the billionaires. Let’s see how fast they would be switching parties………..
Frankly, I’m tired of being lectured by Bill Gates and his dad……especially since they pay taxes at a rate that we could all envy…….
And for the party of the common man, the Democratic Party sure does love its rip off artist rich guys. Kerry married it, Teddy’s family were bootleggers, and Bill? Well, read all about his business practices before you get all warm and fuzzy about him or his intentions.
Just because someone made a lot of money, often at other people’s expense, does not make them a sage in the social engineering department.
But isn’t it funny that Democrats, while claiming they are for the common man, will take anything a really rich man says as absolute wisdom?
But then again, maybe it’s because they both love to get something for nothing………

And You Thought Your Job Was Annoying?
Try to imagine being a sheriff’s officer in what used to be a beautiful place but now is just full of loons. The 60’s started it…and then apathy combined with the –we should-just-all-get-along-ers has turned Marin into a tattletale’s and whiner’s paradise.I especially love this one...."MUIR BEACH – A man at 4:21 p.m. Sunday reported that his vehicle was splashed by water from the tires of a fast-moving car leaving Muir Woods. His windows were down and water got inside, he said. The man gave deputies a description of the car."
Oh no! Not that.....quick call 911.......good grief.

This is especially for my dad….who as he so accurately stated is really the ultimate endangered species in Marin County…..…especially the Point Reyes area….
He is the rarely seen and often abused Red Blooded Republican.
Take your binoculars and a camera……you will be lucky to get a glimpse through the trees….

God Is Not Spelled M-O-N-E-Y………
We all know them.
They are the people that give religion a bad name. And they are usually the most vocal. I have noticed that the people that proclaim their religious faith the loudest, with very few exceptions, are the most base, appalling soul-less beings on this planet.
I am thinking of one very wealthy person I know that thinks he is God’s chosen son, who on a regular basis, roars by homeless people in his big SUV while sneering at “the losers”…his words not mine. This guy thinks that because he has money and attorneys he can do anything and get away with it.
So far he has……..
He has torn apart families, destroyed small businesses so he could grab the assets, sued people into bankruptcy so he could buy their property at fire sale prices, cheated and lied in contracts,and destroyed people’s lives because he perceives that they don’t respect him enough.
DUH…….. Respect him for what?I didn't realize there was a human-weazel shortage in the world.
Oh…and I can't forget to mention that he says God talks to him all the time.
That’s right…you read it right.
God never spoke to Mother Teresa but he is taking time out from his busy schedule to give business advice to a greedy grasping little man.
Yeah ……..right.
And yes, he is in church every Sunday ….but he obviously hasn’t been paying attention.Probably too busy running those numbers God gave him..........
So…how many of these people do you know, and how do you deal with them?
It’s not just religion they are giving a bad name to….it’s humanity.

Basic Medical Care ?
I guess we need to decide, as a society and country, what basic medical care is.
If you are Mae Magouirk, it doesn’t include food and water.
If, however, you are a criminal….you can get an organ transplant courtesy of the taxpayers.
Why do we excuse and explain criminal or irresponsible behavior, while at the same time not rewarding responsible and moral behavior?
Do you think this is perhaps why we have so many more people than we used to in our society, that are violating everyone else's rights?
Because it's become almost accepted?
After all, you aren't really a criminal...you are just another victim of poverty, society,or your parents.....ad nauseum.
Just ask Oprah.......
I had a personal experience with this phenomenon[on a lesser level] in a rural county where the schools couldn’t afford to have art classes, yet the prisoners at the local Level Four State Prison had all sorts of art classes. The irony of it was really brought home to us all when the prisoners designed and made a mosaic wall in the town playground.
This prison held mostly murderers and pedophiles…….
Are you getting the picture yet?
Common sense people..….America needs a big dose of it.

LIFE IS GOOD CHEAP...................
I’m still in shock over it all.
Even though I am not the type of person that normally talks…much less yells…… at the TV I found myself doing just that during the Terri Schindler Schiavo Starve-a-Thon.
I yelled at the TV. I cursed the politicians, and most of all George Felos….who I think should avoid going out during lightning storms for the rest of his life if he has any sense at all. Please George, be sure to wear that tin foil hat you are so fond of………..
But then this wasn’t a normal time for any of us, and no one will ever convince me it was.
There is nothing normal, or decent, about a whole country watching a young disabled woman starve to death. There is nothing normal about watching policemen, who have sworn to protect life and liberty, stand by to make sure that a young woman is starved to death.
The only normal occurrence we all watched was a stream of politicians, and attention grabbers do too little too late…while getting a lot of face time making excuses.
Now…that was normal. Sadly……..
There were also a large group of Americans who desperately wanted to believe that what was taking place was the right and just thing to do. They wanted to believe so badly that they accepted all the lies the MSM put forth as fact, and they were helped along with skewed poll results. They didn’t want to feel guilty, they didn’t want to get involved,and they didn’t want to care that much.
I, fortunately, do not fit into this group.
And honestly….all I can tell you for sure is that life seems to have gotten very, very cheap all of a sudden.
What has happened in our society that it is now perfectly okay to starve a person to death because her “husband” says that she wanted to die? What if he had suddenly remembered that she really wanted to be clocked over the head with a claw hammer? Would that be okay too?
You think I’m reaching here? I haven’t even begun…
I’ll quote Chardonnay , who said it best, “It’s not the right to die…it’s the right to lie”.
And the “right to die”????
I didn’t realize it was a right. I always thought, silly me, it was an absolute that couldn’t be avoided even if you wanted to….
If it’s a right…who gets to take it away? That’s what can happen with rights after all….right?
And then there’s this gem pointing out that there are rules for what constitutes as a valid life.
It makes me very sad to see what we, as a society, have come to.
It’s okay to kill fetuses…it’s not like they are babies or anything? Right? What else can we do? Expect women to be responsible? Oh no not that!
It’s okay to kill the mentally damaged and all because our current societal moral compass is being run by the “I-wouldn’t-want-to-live-that-way-ers”also known as the people that only donate to charity if they are drinking champagne.
I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that if Terri Schindler Schiavo had committed a crime she would have been protected from the likes of Judge Greer. That the MSM was complicit in her murder by repeating, and deliberately misinforming the American public, with out right lies. Especially the lie that the American people didn’t want the Government involved in a personal matter.
Oh really? Since when is the Judiciary not part of the Government?
If the American people were that stupid…….I wouldn’t want them involved in my personal matters……….
But I don’t think the American people are that stupid…. they are misinformed.
And they haven’t been paying attention….till now.
But the time has come to wake up and smell the coffee.
Just because the MSM says it does not make it true…..in fact it’s often a sign of just the opposite.
Just because something is repeated often enough, does not make it true.
What happened to Terri could happen to any of us if we don’t start paying attention. Remember the far left and the Right-to-Die-ers are all counting on all of us not paying attention.
We don’t need a right to die group…….we are all going to die eventually. But death has become big business….do you think George Felos and Planned Parenthood work for free?
But I believe that the liberal Democrats are now holding a monopoly…..both Death and Taxes………….

King County Strikes Yet Again….…. Part Two
Just when you thought King County couldn’t get any smarmier….they do.
As was the case of the ME’s office selling brains.
Here is a classic email I received from a reader in which Carolyn Edmonds explains that the KIRO T.V. Story was wrong…………

So not only did King County steal brains without the family’s permission, now they are calling the family members liars too……..

to support research on the causes of serious mental illness. The contract
called for the KCMEO to provide post mortem brain tissue and pertinent
medical information about the deceased person to the Stanley Laboratory at
the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences in Bethesda,
Maryland, the elite federal medical school and health sciences university
for the Armed Services. The contract also specified that the KCMEO would be
reimbursed an annual fee for the salary of a pathologist and technical
support to ensure that King County had staffing to do the work.As part of the grant, the Medical Examiner's Office (MEO) sent brain tissue
for research purposes to the University after having received consent from
the next of kin. The MEO took great effort and care to ensure that families
understood the nature of the research and that their participation in this
activity was completely voluntary.The MEO's office has complete documentation in 179 out of 180 cases. In one
case the MEO's office has incomplete records but the file indicates consent
was given. Consent included the initial conversation with the next of kin
plus a written description of the research mailed to the next of kin and a
follow up phone call.There was no financial incentive to acquire tissue samples, in other words
there was no quota and no profit. All funds paid for the salary of a
full-time pathologist and other costs to provide the capacity within the
medical examiner's office to take the samples when needed.I appreciate the opportunity to fully explain the situation.

Frankly, I believe Gary “Cool Gary” Lynn’s father, Bill, much more than I do King County who just keeps heaping blight upon plight here. And according to Bill, Gary’s father, he never gave them permission.
So who is telling the truth?
Well…I’ll let you decide. But in light of King County’s recent record of being a veritable factory for pathological liars [see Dean Logan here] I know who I don’t believe.
I guess we now know why King County is so concerned with housing the homeless….why, if one were to let their imagination run a bit you could just look at it as one stop shopping for King County Elections and the ME’s office, couldn’t you?
At this point I wouldn’t put anything past them………..
