Back Home At Last…..For Now
No, I’m not trying out for world’s biggest flake in the blogosphere…….I have been out of state scouting locations for a high tech company.
So if I have any readers left….and I hope I do….that is my excuse.
Now if you are wondering about the out of state part…...well, with the tax and spend and anti business climate here in Washington I have made the decision to place the company in another state.
I sure wasn’t alone in this.
Businesses are fleeing Washington right and left.
You would think that would give the democrats and Governor Gregoire pause wouldn’t you?
It speaks volumes that it doesn’t…………
More later…….I swear……….

john....and on a second thought....aren't socialists responsible for alot of what is wrong in AMERICA now? why not move to a socialist country? oh that's right......you wouldn't be allowed to have an obnoxious opinion then, would you?
all we have in this country are the seattle-champagne socialists anyway.....they are even phoney socialists. what a laugh........

john.......already found nirvana thanks so much.and you know i don't blame anyone for the few troubles i have but the person responsible. you see i am a responsible conservative. why blame when you can fix? i don't need to live in a red or blue state....number one there is no such thing as a blue STATE. there are blue cities and counties...but no states.
thinking that way is counter-productive.
i live in america....and so do you ........

Best of luck in your search for Red State nirvana but I'm sure you'll find "socialists" to blame your troubles on everywhere you go..

Try setting up a high-tech operation in any populated part of this state and you will go crazy with the regulations. It was not worth it!

Apparently, they seem to think their revenue stream is endless so they don't care!

Good riddance! You'll find the overall taxes you pay will increase as you leave here...moving here (as a small businessman) was scary because of all the huge hype about Washington State.
As it turns out, my expenses (business and personal) are *significantly* lower here than before.
So...good luck and enjoy your anti-everything blog whereever you end up...as you'll experience worse than here!

Good for you. I wish you all the success in the world. More businesses should be looking at nearby states for tax reasons. Idaho for one has a very low unemployment tax rate, no B&O and private workers comp.
California also allows private workers comp insurance, a low unemployment tax rate, in fact they make the employee pay a portion of it. LOL Imagine the liberals in WA hearing that.
You are so right, WA is a horribly run State and hammers businesses to hard. So sad!
There is a ray of hope and that is we may be able to run Ron Sims outta town. That would help King County. We all know Gregoire won't last longer than 1 term and Rossi is running again in 08.
