Judge Bridges…Human Paperweight Of The Year.

After all he was in that court room to ensure that justice was done, not to hold down the courthouse lest gravity should fail.
All he did was hold down the courthouse. Pun intended.
He started out by saying that “unfortunately for both sides he did not have a spoonful of sugar for them”. That’s right…he didn’t. He had none for the GOP/Citizen side and he had the whole bag for the Democrat/Bureaucrat side.
Then he gave a mini lecture with no teeth about King County government employees not doing their jobs……but summed it up by basically saying that’s the way this cookie crumbles.
His message?
Cheat away kids…if you can stuff it in the ballot box it counts.
After all it was only one or two thousand extra votes, right?
Sheesh…what do people want anyway? Accuracy?

Today Governor Gregoire said she was “relieved”. Really? I thought she said she was too busy to pay any attention to this…….I guess you can’t believe anything she says. Kinda like the “I’m not going to raise taxes” mumbo jumbo.
And then she added with her usual lack of good taste and timing “….people in Washington State are more focused on their jobs and health care than the election”. If that is truly the case this state belongs where it is….
You get what you vote for or what you let them get away with.
This comment on Sound Politics from an obviously left leaning “citizen”…………

FINALLY! Now all you wackos can leave our state! Get it through your head... you are not welcome here! This is a democrat state, we own the gov't, we own the law, and we own you.
Now get....
Buh bye.

This coming from a conservative…….notice the difference?

Absent from the discussion are 50,000 ballots illegally enhanced.
Poll workers in King County can print blank ballots and there is no way to record how many. Just have certain poll workers match the formally blank ballots with names on the voter rolls who did not vote this election. How many hundreds, thousands?
I will never have confidence in this system.
The democrat machine has stolen the state. Any “reforms” will be passed by dems and nothing that does not make voter fraud easier will be passed.
A watershed event for me. Working harder in this system is simply playing their game.
The 2nd amendment was created for these times.

Now Judge Bridges…aren’t you proud of yourself? You took the easy route instead of the correct one and look what side you find yourself on…..and it isn’t the Washington voter’s………
Somewhere Stalin is smiling………….

mike...you hit the nail right on the head. that's exactly what this ruling does. it's the gift that keeps on giving....sadly.
the lefties will take cheating to even more of an art form than they have already......

I was very disappointed by the precedence the ruling set. He's ruled that illegal votes must be counted until you can find who cast them, subpoena them, and hope they tell the truth. That just encourages open fraud the next time around.

Janet represents the radical left wing of the Democratic party. You know, the ones that riot in the streets.
The only ones that have to fear "her kind" is the Democrat party itself. If they cannot admit it and do control it, then they are doomed as a major party.
Janet and the other democrats LOVE the moveon.org money too much. Do a wikipedia search on George Soros. Another wacko contributor to the Democrats, a party he now owns.
Democrats are NOT the party they were a few years ago. They are more afraid of us than we are of them. Their new target is Doc Hastings? Now that’s funny.

Urband legend that Bridges is a Republ.

$5 says he's a dem; drinks latte as he checks his earring.

yes it is a shame. judge bridges decided to take the easy way out and he let us all down. but the bigger shame is that so many of our fellow "citizens" are so happy about that.
but i put it in perspective. these are the very same people that scream about separation of church and state [without understanding what that actually means] and then applaud paul berendt when he makes comments such as "GOD has appointed gregoire as governor"
i am afraid to say that i don't think this will ever change in this state. when you have the inmates running the "institution" and making the rules for themselves, the chance of it ever changing are slim.

What a shame.

norm maleng...the same guy that went after two widowers and NO FELONS? come on you must be kidding.
the judge delivered what YOU wanted and that is why, i suspect, you are so pleased with him.i sincerely doubt that he is a republican. when you are a republican judge in a republican county your political leanings are hardly going to be a mystery.....
and the whole pink shirts and diamond earring thing. no big deal right? right...unless you are a JUDGE. and then i expect you to be a little more moderate in your appearance as befits a JUDGE.
his appearance screamed democrat in mid-life crisis.......too bad no one told him that no one lives to be a 120.LOL.
but in the end...you did win. and by you ...i mean all the partisans that couldn't see past the end of your noses. what would have happened if we had "won"? the whole state and all it's citizens would have been able to VOTE again.OH NO !!! NOT THAT!!!
but when you won gregoire got to stay in office.
i wonder which side was more non-partisan????
maybe you should think about that before you gloat too much....Hmmm?

Xmasghost - we were all whistlin' past the graveyard at HA.org? Remember?

The post by Janet is intemperate and whacko. There's nothing there to defend.

But I can't believe your "conservative" commenter. The 50,000 enhanced ballots were logged and witnessed by both parties. It was legal - we're a voter intent state. And if it's so easy to stuff a ballot box in this state why didn't either candidate do enough of it to come out a decent amount ahead? I'll tell you why - it didn't happen.

2nd ammendment? My God! Guns solve so many problems for you people!

Judge Bridges is the kind of Republican that used to be pretty common in this state. He has my support for Supreme Court and I've only voted for one R in my life - Norm Maleng. Bridges did his job. He rendered a decision based on findings of fact as allowed within the confines of state case law.

Ditto for Sam Reed and whatever he wants to do - I'll take a hard look at him.
