Let The Backlash Begin………….
Washington State lost more than its self respect this last Monday. It lost its chance at having a really decent and very, very capable governor that would have been able to avert the coming fiscal disaster that is Christine Gregoire. After she gets done emptying all our piggy banks to pay off the favors she owes [think union here] it won’t be just the citizens that are bankrupt…it will also be the state. Both of money and class…
Yes, class.
Dino Rossi is one classy guy.
He has the rare combination of class and smarts that make a truly great man.His future is very bright….and hopefully for Washington state he will run for governor again. Because by 2008 this state is going to be in dire straights.
That isn’t a tough prediction to make.
And I have noticed a really interesting phenomenon happening in lefty-land. They are going nuts. They can’t even “win” gracefully.
Go ahead…..surf the lefty Blog sites [don’t let their lack of vocabulary stop you] and what you read are post after post of “now you Republicans can get out of our state.”
Their state?
Ah…their true colors are showing again.
But that’s okay, because in all their celebration happiness gloating they are overlooking one little thing......
People are mad.
Really mad. And they are doing something about it starting with the new gas tax that will be history.
And come the next election cycle look for a big change in Olympia……that will only be a surprise to Democrats.

we must not forget that the tax increases would have totalled one BILLION more had liarguv not played Enron accounting games. the budget raided all the state trust funds ($450 million) and again (like Locke) did NOT fund state pensions ($500 million). can you imagine the outcry had taxes been raised another BILLION to fund all the spending the dems have agreed to ??
the guv lied re her tax stance in her campaign. and her budget also "lies". our state needs fiscal sanity NOW.

I have (3) I-912 petitions and I expect to get them all signed.
I heard 25,000 petitions went out, hmmmm 25,000 x 20 signatures is 500,000. More than enuf.
Also, I-900, performance audits has met it's goal as well, I believe.
People have not forgot, 7 months later, the details of the 3 counts for GOV. Democrats went overboard in their first session and crissy broke her campaign promises on raising taxes. Name one politician who survived that?
Crissy continues to live on the edge by coordinating her daughters graduation with an offical European trip. And, talk about ETHICS, what about having her husband and daughter on the state payroll?
We know for a fact Mike Gregoire was on the AGO payroll.
Time to wake up and fight Republicans. Fight them or shut up.
Now, let's play hardball.
