Are We Edging Towards World War Three?

According to a recent poll, the majority of Americans think we are …or will soon be.
But my question to all of you is…are we already in it?
For people my age that grew up with the fears of nukes… and the ensuing emergency drills in school….during which they would make us get under our desks and put our heads down, as we used to joke “so we could kiss our asses goodbye”…I think we all expected some big bang to start the next great big war.
From the Soviet Union………
And as we all knew…those desks were sure going to protect us from radiation.
We did a lot of whistling past the graveyard back then. We were scared but we sure as hell weren’t going to let anyone know that. So we joked about it…but we had nightmares too.
But war is never what you expect it to be.

Ask anyone that either lived during, or fought in, World War Two. Sure, they heard all about what Hitler was doing…but he was all the way over in Europe for god’s sake! How could that ever affect us?
And then he invaded Poland and the Big War was closer.
For most people I think it came as a shock when we were suddenly embroiled in the war.
And now we have all the revisionists’ history of the last Great War.
There are many things that can protect a nation, and a people, from war….or at least from losing a war.
The foremost is vigilance.
They knew that back in the thirties and forties. Have you ever seen any of the old posters or newsreels?
Can you imagine what it would be like today?
Oh, that’s right, you don’t have to.
Thanks to liberal and very destructive groups like the ACLU…you don’t have to imagine ……it’s now called profiling.
That’s right. Calling a snake a snake is now a social crime punishable by long, windy and boring lectures from drones that can barely read and usually smell.
But what really worries me is that they are winning this war of words and if that happens we will also lose the real war if and when it ever occurs.
Probably without a shot ever being fired…………
To be continued…….

Thank God a bunch of pretty like minded folks like us have a place like this to meet where we don't have to listen to any sort of liberal claptrap. I heard someone just the other day say it was crazy for Bush to get involved in Iraq because it tied up 90% of our army in a war not directly related to the attacks of Sept. 11th, and that if trouble broke out elsewhere we'd be stretched too thin to fight any sort of real engagement. If that's crazy, that's my kind of crazy! Someone else said over on one of the networks that we were bankrupting the nation, and that while we have never spent money faster the rich were still asking for tax cuts. Well, don't you believe it. There might have been a few cuts to stimulate the economy, but I bet before long they'll roll them back and the rich will even ask to pay even more just to set things to right. Most of them are Americans people!

I wrote about this in May @

But my posting then was not nearly as good as this one.

Yes, we are in WWIII! The fact that most of the general public doesn`t understand this is scary.

Things are going to get worse before they get better.

We have been in World War Three since November 1979, when the Iranian thugs stormed our embassy in Tehran. We just didn't know it until September 11, 2001.

lucy......i have to agree with you. we have become a country [thanks to PC thought control] that is pretty good at avoiding "the elephant in the living room".......we can thank the ACLU for that too.

I suppose we are in a WWIII with the muslims, the ACLU and the countries that try to threaten us with Nuclear Bombs.

Awesome post! We are in WWIII in my opinion. A spiritual war, and a crossroads for the world.

I do believe we are in World War III as we speak, it is a war like we have never seen and the war is not against an army like we have ever seen.

The enemy kills anyone that is not willing to believe as they do and my fears are that we will not wake up until we have millions killed by the terrorists in our own country.

We must remember that the Germans invaded Britain before we really came to their aid; the Japanese invaded Hawaii before we fought back.

The terrorists invaded our country (9-11) and we fought back, but now we seem to be forgetting this and are willing to let them go.

I do not advocate shutting down the borders, I do advocate controlling them. I do not advocate locking up all Middle Eastern people but we need to understand that the people killing Americans are not little old women from Youngstown Ohio.

Below is a controversial quote from the Koran and many say that this not what true Muslims believe , however I have stated before if it is not true why have the Imam’s not denounced the murderers , if it is not true why are westerners being killed in the name of the Muslim Religion as we speak .

I do not have the answers to all of our ills, but to your question yes we are currently fighting WW III and some of the enemies soldiers live work and prosper right here in America and one of them is the ACLU

The Koran instructs not to make friendship with Jews and Christians (Koran 5:51) but to war against them: "When the Sacred Months are over, kill those who ascribe partners to God wheresoever ye find them; seize them, encompass them, and ambush them; then if they repent and observe prayer and pay the alms, let them go their way (Koran 4:5). "Fight against those who believe not in God nor in the Last Day, who... refuse allegiance to the True Faith from among those who have received the Book, until they humbly pay tribute out of hand." (Koran 9:29)

"...kill the disbelievers wherever we find them" (Koran 2:191); "fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem" (Koran 9:5); "murder them and treat them harshly" (Koran 9:123).

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing “
Edmund Burke
