Tookie Must Die............
If ever there were a case just made for capitol punishment….this is it.
Stanley “Tookie” Williams is a swine.
And I hesitate to use the word swine because I don’t want to insult pigs everywhere. There are no words for what Tookie really is except the obvious….monster.
He is not only a murderer; he is the founder of one of the worst gangs to ever hit America’s streets. He is responsible for thousands of deaths.
He has killed more young black men with his poisonous rhetoric and criminal activities than anyone else in modern times.
So his jack-booted supporters wearing berets AND cammo [be sure to check out the photos online...they will make your skin crawl.] point out that he has changed. He is sorry. He has made amends. He has written children’s’ books. He has been nominated for the Nobel peace prize [so what…I am going to nominate my dog later today…] and most of all he is innocent.
Baloney……
He has continued to run his criminal activities from prison, although I realize that I am using the term prison here ever so lightly….after all if you can become a celebrity with a web page while on death row we need to clean up the prison system. It’s supposed to be a miserable experience. That’s the point.
And he continues to lie about his crimes. How sorry can you actually be if you won’t take responsibility for your actions?
So, Governor Schwarzenegger, please, for the sake of us all allow Tookie to get what’s coming to him.
I’m pretty sure they are saving a nice warm seat for him in hell….. where he belongs…….

bob....i know exactly what you mean. but here is the difference. after living in washington state for 6 [long] years, i have to say that even the most liberal down here in california are not as nuts as those in washington.of course i am not even considering the ones in east LA or berkeley...they don't count.
but it was a surprise to even me...a native californian.
at this point arnold must realize that when even liberal politicians are calling for tookie to get his finally....it's either tookie or him.
he can choose.
and i strongly suspect that tookie is going to be history as of one minute after midnight on tuesday.
sad that with all the "tookies" on death row here in california there have only been 12 executions sinse the death penalty was reinstated.
the tookies of the world are lucky that i am not governor...i would be zipping one per day until all the trash was gone. and then i would spend the money that we waste on these "walking organ donors" on education.
BTW...i sent tookie an email. still haven't heard back from him. heh heh heh.......

I have read the same thing and even read that some of his former buddies have said that he did commit the murders that he was convicted of. There is a strong coalition of victims that have called for his execution and like you said there has been a lot of complacency among others.
My concerns are the Hollywood elite the black leaders and the anti-death crowd linked to even an unsubstantiated threat of unrest in southern California could lead to Governor Schwarzenegger playing politics in a time where he is loosing his support.
I really do hope you are right, but we have seen California stooping to the pressure of the whacko Hollywood elitists as well as the whacko left leaning politicians so nothing will surprise me in California just like very little surprises me here in Washington

bob...my thought when i read about the purported threats...they haven't been confirmed yet, because as one policeman said the young gang members attitudes are "tookie-who?".... i'm paraphrasing...but the basic thought is since most of them don't exactly spend their time watching the news or reading newspapers and have no experience with tookie they really don't care. people in that part of LA will riot for any reason...they make up. nothing soothes your little hurt ego better than a stolen tv afterall.LOL.
but i think all the hype will get tookie the needle. after all you can't have a monster running things from prison and arnold deoesn't seem to like threats very much. which is exactly what this little publicity stunt by his "followers" is.
a stunt.......
maybe they should just give tookie a four shotgun salute at dawn [pretty much like he did to his victims] and aim really really LOW.

I see him pardoning him now after reading a report that the police are worried about riots in the streets in southern California if Tookie is put to death.
I like Arnold and think he wants to do the right thing; I just think he has little support from not only his own party but responsible officials in the state in general
I hope that I am wrong but it seems like everyone wants an easy way out of everything anymore, no one is willing to take the hard road even if it is the right thing

bob....i honestly don't know. after arnold hired a really wacky ex davis aid who is a very liberal democrat,and very pro abortion [not pro choice....pro abortion] to be his head staffer, i am worried that he will cave on tookie. if he does... i won't be able to support him.

The more I read the more I believe that it is no longer about Tookie but more about Schwarzenegger. If Arnold pardons Tookie he will look like a hero to the Hollywood left and the democrats if he denies the pardon then the Republicans will look at him as being weak and caving to the Hollywood left so will he be the terminator or will this terminate him?

He apologizes for starting the gang but he fails to apologize for his crime. I hope the prison guards get to submit their experiences with him to the Terminator/GOV.
