What Progressive Is Really C-O-D-E For………….
During one of my recent forays onto Goldy’s blog to smack him around for his incredibly silly points of view I discovered this classic site.
Now I know what progressive really means…….
And I can’t stop laughing.
According to this and other silly sites about, and by, so called “progressives”, all it takes to be progressive is to be on the cutting edge of bizarre and sometimes criminal behavior.
Who knew?
And the litmus tests for being a progressive are interesting too. Are you gay? Do you vote democrat? Are you black or non white? Do you support same sex marriage even though the rest of the state voted against it and it is illegal? Are you against the war? Do you own a tibetan prayer flag? How about a UN flag?
I think most people would think of these “qualifications” as being silly not to mention bigoted, racist and creepy but hey…..I just described a “progressive”, didn’t I?
Be sure to click on the highlighted link for a really good laugh……..and don’t forget to check out the really, really progressive "ad" for PORN on the upper left corner of the site. Hey when Rita Cosby talks about it you know it's not just for perverts anymore.......it's mainstream, baby.
I mean really [and speaking as a woman here] how much more progressive can someone get?

my sympathies to you for living in oregon.....it used to be such a beautiful and rural state and now, well, it's pretty chock a block full of loons.AKA....liberal "progressive" democrats.
interesting isn't it that the first thing a "progressive" does when he is given any sort of power or platform[ blog]is immediatly try to silence anyone that would disagree with him/her.
now that's P-R-O-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E......

That site is hilarious, but sadly I actually live in Oregon. I noticed that they won't let anyone post who doesn't agree with their air-headed leftwing views. Wouldn't want to have our delusions challenged, now would we?

Only a truly disturbed person would try to equate progressive websites with some kind of porn influence. Sounds to me like ChristmasGhost has some severely stunted sexual issues to work out. Too bad he has to blame society for his own demons.
Been to Newsmax.com lately? Click on one of their "boners r us" banners. How's about Fox/Murdoch, which built its entire empire on barely covered breasts and "barely legal" Page 6 Girls. I blame Bill Clinton.

How do they reconcile with the fact that DNC leaders are all rich, white, heterosexual men? OH, and Harry Reid is a Mormon, and Kennedy & Kerry are Catholics.

what a hoot the way they track progressive cities. I must have missed something when I learned the definition of "progress."
So, according to Goldy & e-Podunk, to be "progressive" you have to be a non-white gay who votes Democrat. That describes only 4% of Americans. How is it we manage to advance as a society with 96% of us being "slow?"
I noticed MA and CA had the most. WHOA, big surprise there.
Well, all I can say is,
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT GUYS.
(and they wonder why ALGORE & KERRY lost & they can't win back either house).
