Once again Canada through its own vast stupidity has become the focus of international eyes.
But that’s not really new is it?
That question was rhetorical…completely…..just a heads up for you Canadian readers. EH??? And yes, I am mocking you.
I have to state up front that there isn’t anything that impresses me positively about Canada. I don’t know if my mother was once scared by a Canadian when she was pregnant with me [that's actually hard to imagine....my mother ?] and that marked me for life …or if I have just been paying very close attention to our…ahem…"neighbors" to the north.
I’m betting that it’s just that I have been paying very close attention. And then there is that whole familiarity breeds contempt thing too………
They are a country of bi-polar idiots.
They hate us because we have guns but then they beat baby seals to death with picks.
They hate us ,because according to them [HA!] ,we are destroying the environment but then they beat so many baby seals to death that they are putting the population of harp seals in danger of extinction.
Their claim that they have to beat the baby seals to death because it’s how many of their population [of idiots…don’t forget that] supports themselves…..is a complete lie. It really is..... each "sealer" makes about a thousand dollars a year doing this, and even in dumb-ville Canada that isn't a living.
How would you feel if I told you that Canada not only subsidizes the “hunt” but they also spend tax dollars trying to sell the pelts…of the baby seals they beat to death?
Well…they do.
And they are losing money doing it…………
Well, well, well…so the country best known for its cowards, maple syrup and incredibly stupid social engineering experiments is really not at all what they keep telling the rest of the world they are? What a surprise.
Here is a short list of complete lies that Canada has fed the rest of the world:
They are pacifists. Actually they aren’t…they are cowards. Terrorists shoot back…baby seals can’t. Pacifists also don’t attack observers to the slaughter......but Canadians do. Unarmed women in boats and baby seals...look out world here come the [snide filter OFF] brave Canadians.
They want us to think they are pro-environment……once again, not even remotely true. When you beat close to 400,000 baby seals to death and put the harp seal population in danger of extinction…you are a lot of things but one of them isn’t an environmentalist. They also tried to use this line as their excuse for almost completely wiping out the wolf population way back in the first part of the last century because, according to them, that's why the caribou herds were dwindling ....it was the wolves doing it.
Those wolves were so damn helpful and polite that they skinned the carcasses and then piled them right next to Canadian hunter’s cabins. What are the odds of that actually happening? [ I'll give you a hint....ZIP]
It took a Canadian author and researcher, Farley Mowat [read “Never cry wolf”...excellent book ] to expose that lie. But here it is again haunting the harp seals….and the rest of us….the same old trite, but we had to excuse. They used that excuse to almost completely wipe out the population of wolves ....not very different from their bi-polar story now is it? First "it's the only way our [really stupid] people can support themselves and when that doesn't fly they say "well we are trying to keep the fish from being wiped out".
Might I suggest that they not over fish like they have been for the last several decades?
This isn't rocket science....thank God, or the Canadians would be really screwed.
I want you to really look at the pictures and remember that many of those baby seals were alive when they were being skinned. And that there is absolutely no good reason for doing it. And that Canada likes to represent itself as the world’s thought police conscience.
But, now I know why they couldn’t be bothered to help us wipe out terrorism…they were too busy snuffing out two month old seal pups…because as everyone knows they are really, really scary.
If you are Canadian, that is.
It's time we took Canada to task for all it's BS.
So, let's start helping the seals by demanding that Canada stop this incredibly inhumane and insane slaughter.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM CANADA. .....not until they start acting like human beings should.
I'm guessing that ,sadly, that won't happen in any of our lifetimes if the Canadians hold true to form.

I find it amusing when single-issue activists berate and entire nation for the actions of less than a percent of a percent of it's population. Even more-so is it amusing when the same hecklers hail from a country who's own policies in the world stage cause more strife, death, suffering, and economic chaos than the country which is their focus. Yes. SOME of our countrymen beat seals to death. Yes. SOME of our population inflicts unimaginable hurt on it's own species. Yes. We are human and have human failings. But coming from a self-involved, outwardly hostile, bullyish, scandalous, insensitive nation, these comments are laughable. I have no part in this butchery, nor do I associate with those who do. I am vehemently opposed to the very notion of the treatment these animals receive. But since I live here I am a target for inane insults and childish mockery? When your country stops sending their armies out to "enlighten" the world...(see: Crusades) talk to me about inhumane treatment of animals. Until then how about working WITH those of us here who oppose this senseless slaughter, instead of blanketing an entire nation as monsters. "Let he is without sin cast the first stone." Religious or not, that is a good line. Take it to heart and ponder it before you speak up on an issue like this. There is nothing wrong with ideas and free-speech. But when that freedom trods upon that of another being...you hopefully get my point. This will no doubt generate a triade of wonderful flames and attacks. I expect nothing less. In fact they will prove much of what I am saying here.
