Reality Versus Perception……..
If there is one thing we can all learn from this presidential race it’s that women are not only still second or third class citizens… it’s really other women that are keeping them in that position.
For many men it may come as a surprise that the women known as “feminists”… in the height of irony…are the real people keeping many women back.
Most intelligent women I know have known this since almost day one. We didn’t need decoder rings …we went to school with these “women”. The Campbell Browns and Maureen Dowds of the world we are very familiar with…we have had to watch our backs around these women since kindergarten after all.
This is one of the main reasons I never bought into the feminist movement…I looked at the players and knew who they were, what they were…and what their agenda really was. And their agenda wasn’t about helping other women get ahead at all. Hardly; it’s all about power,their power as most special interest groups are…..the name "feminist" should give it away after all.
These women fancy themselves the ultimate arbiters of who deserves to get ahead and who doesn’t.
It’s simple really.
If you belong to their special clique....liberal, very.... and you share every single one of their “ideas” completely and you have kissed their asses ring… perhaps, and then only perhaps will you be allowed to pass go and collect your reward with their blessings.
And then whatever you accomplish they will, of course, take credit for.
Except motherhood…the ultimate sin in feminist land. Then you are just a breeder….which simply shows the depth of contempt these women have for other women making their own, very real choices. They assume that any woman that has children is a sucker…or at least that’s what they want everyone to believe. But it’s not what they really believe and this is what men have been slow to understand.
It’s really about the simple fact that in their world there isn’t any real choice other than that which appears on their official list of approved “choices”. So much for real choice...it's all a smokescreen.
Abortions? Yes.
Motherhood? No.....OMG no!
Unless of course you aren’t in a relationship of any kind and use a sperm donor and then it’s really cutting-edge-cool……
If you are happily married and have children you are out of "the club" forever and if you think that these women will support you if you want to also have a career…forget it.
You have become a threat…just as blacks that succeed without the “help” of people like Jesse Jackson and Rev. Wright are Uncle Toms. It’s a threat to their power base.
After all, if you can do it without them…who needs them? And that’s where they get their money, and power from…..keeping the very people they pretend to fight for down…way down.
These same feminist women are attacking Governor Palin and her seventeen year old daughter like jackals right now, but that doesn’t come as a surprise to real women anywhere.
Like I said…we went to school with them.
Men don’t understand this …and they would need more than decoder rings to be able to.
When Barack Obama appeared on the political stage the feminists were more than happy to throw Hillary Clinton under the bus, she wasn’t really one of them after all,..….and he was already house broken. He had been trained by one of their own….his wife Michelle. An angry, bitter, disagreeable woman who puts herself first at all times and is never satisfied with anything.
In other words their poster child.
That is the feminist model.
And the head spinning contortions these "feminists" are doing in the media right now to make it appear as if they are just “concerned” are mind bending to say the least.
Their favorite phrase “A woman has the right to choice”…should be followed by “But choose very, very carefully or we will turn on you.”
And we are witnessing this phenomenon right now.
Really, need I say more?

You know, he really is....and the way this campaign is heading, the way Obama is having his "surrogates" [which is just code for employees] attack Sarah Palin and her family what else does anyone need to see or know?
He hides behind his wife, he attacks a 17 year old girl, and he chose slow Joe Biden, biggest windbag in the senate and that's really saying something.....as his VP.
Obama has no common sense and he is incapable of making real decisions........
And frankly, I think that he has "poked the bear" with these latest tactics and it's going to bite him....

Hey, CG, I thought you might be back in the game! Great to see the Christmas Ghost all fired up. I've been having a great deal of fun on one of the PUMA sights recruiting angry Hillary supporters to vote Republican. Sarah Palin is drawing tens of thousands of them! I was never a big McCain fan but the choice of Sarah Palin will go down as one of the greatest Hail Mary passes in American politics. And isn't she GREAT!!!!

i know...it's amazing how many democrats i know wouldn't vote for obama if he were the last politician on the planet and it has nothing to do with his race. and when that idiot chose the king of the idiots,biden, as his running mate...well, game over.
this is immensely enjoyable really....now if only fox news hadn't turned left.

Thanks for stopping by the site and leaving that tidbit about Biden's daughter. As for this article, I went to high school with these women and because I personally am so androgenis(? spelling) I never really thought about this view until you wrote about it. Oh yes, they are definitely the ones to watch out for and I have always watched my back. I am not surprised that they are skewering Palin, only that they thought they could get away with it considering the republicans are not going to stand for such nonsense. Obama only scares me because I know Mishy is standing behind him giving him direction.

DiamondTiger........I think they thought they could get away with it because they think that the PC police have done their job so well that we women, *especially* if conservative, were beaten down enough to stay on "the plantation".
I say screw them...it's time to stand up and show them they are wrong!
Women that carry water for a socialist creep like Obama deserve to be shown for what they are....traitors.
And I can honestly say that I would not have had a problem with Hillary Clinton being elected, even though I am a conservative, because Hillary is a real American.

I agree with everything in your comment but want to add that the Dems thought they would get away with it because nobody stood up for Hillary except us "dead-end losers". The DNC let it happen and only stood up for Bambi when he was attacked. The Obama camp got used to that bubble of security and didn't realize the RNC was gonna shake it up. That is why they are in such a panic now. Stupid is as stupid does.

I agree with you. Even as a conservative I watched in amazement as the DNC threw Hillary to the wolves/MSM and made excuses for it. Her husband is a racist blah blah blah. Bill Clinton may be a lot of things but racist isn't one of them.
We do have to thank the obama campaign for one thing...and one thing only...the whole "America is a racist country" is now off the table...at last. Sure there are still some racists, there always will be stupid people....there's no cure for that. BUT when Bill Clinton merely pointed out the obvious about polling numbers and Jesse Jackson you could tell the DNC was just waiting for something to use as a reason to pull [yet again] the race card out of their arse,and it is getting really old.
But hey, in Dean's little mind the race card was supposed to cover up the fact that their candidate is beyond an empty suit..in fact it's insulting to empty suits everywhere to even call him that. So I'll just call him what he really is....a windbag anti-American socialist with absolutely nothing to offer this country except grief.
I take it you are in Hawaii? What is the mood there among people about Obama? Too bad you can't get your hands on his US birth certificate....if it exists.
