The Voter's "Death Panels" Coming Soon To A State Near You
The democrats presently in office will be the first lucky people to experience Obama style end of life counseling...only they are going to be experiencing the end of career counseling instead.... at the hands of the taxpayers in 2010.
First up is Harry "I hope you go out of business" Reid for his in-your-face bullying of Nevada's largest newspaper:
On Wednesday, before he addressed a Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Reid joined the chamber's board members for a meet-'n'-greet and a photo. One of the last in line was the Review-Journal's director of advertising, Bob Brown, a hard-working Nevadan who toils every day on behalf of advertisers. He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal.Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: "I hope you go out of business."
Later, in his public speech, Reid said he wanted to let everyone know that he wants the Review-Journal to continue selling advertising because the Las Vegas Sun is delivered inside the Review-Journal.
Such behavior cannot go unchallenged.
You could call Reid's remark ugly and be right. It certainly was boorish. Asinine? That goes without saying.
But to fully capture the magnitude of Reid's remark (and to stop him from doing the same thing to others) it must be called what it was -- a full-on threat perpetrated by a bully who has forgotten that he was elected to office to protect Nevadans, not sound like he's shaking them down.

House Financial Services Chairman Rep. Barney Frank, Massachusetts Democrat, said he expects former GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul's legislation to audit the Fed to pass out of his committee in October as part of a larger regulatory package.
Rep. Paul's [R-Texas] bill if added to Mr. Frank's other proposed reforms, could give a boost to a financial regulation package the Obama Administration wanted to pass last spring.
You see, this is how it works: there is something necessary to be done. The American people are demanding it by a massive majority. Power-brokers among the left (of course) do not want it done. So they set themselves up with a lovely little win-win for themselves; stick it in a larger measure, chock full of sh*t that they want passed, but they know We the People are going to be pissed. So one of two things happens. One, the bill passes and while we get this lovely little morsel, a pile of sh*tty Obama regulations will be crammed down our throats. Knowing Obama and his idea of regulations, I doubt our country will benefit from them. Or option two, the bill tanks and the Dems can come out in the next election and say "Hey, my republican opponent voted against auditing the Fed!"
We need some of the brave Congressmen who co-signed this bill to demand the Fed Audit Bill be voted on as a separate and sovereign bill; no riders, no addendums, no pork.
That and Barney Frank being tarred and feathered...but then, he'd probably enjoy that a little too much.

Bill O'Reilly is anything but a conservative.
And frankly, I am sick and tired of his lecturing real conservatives while speaking white ebonics.
"For da folks" indeed.
It must be his Harvard "street cred" showing up yet again....although how this pompous idiot ever made it into Harvard is a mystery. Perhaps, especially given some of Harvard's recent prominent graduates most especially O'Reilly, Harvard should be re-classified as belonging to the poison ivy league rather than just the ivy league. It has become a joke...a punchline for a joke with O'Reilly as it's poster child.
FOX news needs to buy a clue here. No matter how many times that douche O'Reilly slams Glenn Beck, Beck is a thinker and the only reason any of us watch the channel.
O'Reilly's latest over-the-top BS is, of course, about Teddy "the murderer" Kennedy....but then they had a lot in common. Both liked to abuse female underlings...although O'Reilly's version involved a phone and ,umm, vibrating objects. He's more a hands off guy than his hero Kennedy ever was.
Neither of them have ever been even remotely familiar with the English language.... for O'Reilly it's the blanco ebonics, for Kennedy it was a version of Boston-ese that hasn't actually been spoken by anyone other than a Kennedy since 1834. And that guy was also making it up...it just sounds so elite, or drunk...which ever comes first.

Naturally, Teddy says "reincarnation, please" and Satan warns him [he's a bro you know?] that reincarnation may not be all it's cracked up to be by saying "You might be surprised by what you come back as...."

Let the gnashing of teeth and the wailing of harpies commence [cue Pelosi]....Ted is dead.
Normally I am a "never speak ill of the dead" sort of person, however I draw the line at murderers and traitors and especially murdering traitors.
Frankly I cannot find even one good thing to be said about Ted Kennedy, other than he finally assumed room temperature.....he and his clan have done more damage to this country than anyone else in it's history, and they did it all while "playing royalty". It seems none of them ever actually read the constitution and had no concept that in this country we do not have royalty or a ruling class...never mind, leave it to the Kennedys to skip reality.
Ted Kennedy was a manipulative arrogant douche bag who was born with a crystal whiskey decanter in his mouth, and the idiots that you will see singing his praises are just that; idiots.
While they call him the Lion of the Senate, the liar of the senate might be more accurate. There wasn't a thing Teddy touched that didn't turn to sh*t in five seconds. Hate your HMO's? Thank Teddy. Disgusted that our borders are being over run by entitled parasites? Thank Teddy. Do you find cowardly murderers disgusting? Think Teddy. Drunks, liars and cheats? Think Teddy.
How about a traitor that was actively working with the Soviet Union to undermine our government for political gain during the cold war? Think Teddy.
Oh yes....he did it all. He was the poster boy for overindulgence in every aspect of his life save one....the truth.
But then, that seems to be a Kennedy trait.
As for the "Kennedy Curse"....well, maybe it's finally over for America, the actual curse-ee....and we will never have to "Think Teddy" ever again.

As the political theater continues it is important to keep our eyes on what is really going on. The Barackcracy in charge doesn't want you to be paying attention to the Health Care Bill. They want you to be on the defensive and distracted ...you know Obama's favorite word..... and that is why they are siccing their minions on the citizens of America. After all, if we the people are on the defensive and distracted we are no longer a threat to their agenda. As appalling as it is to have an American president turn out hordes of paid thugs to attack the citizens of the very country he is supposed to be representing,we cannot be lured into playing the game their way.
That's what they want you to do....really. And that's why they are being so upfront and in our faces with their unconstitutional shenanigans. These are not stupid people, as vile as Barry and his inner circle are, they are not stupid. Always remember that.
If America is to survive we, as a people, need to do more than just win this battle; we need to win this war. And make no mistake about it...this is a war. A war for America's future and if we lose this one, there will not be another chance to make things right.
The comparisons between the period of time leading up to Hitler's rise to absolute power and what is happening in our government today are valid ones...if, that is, you are talking about the Obama regime. This is why Barry's minions and his toadies in the MSM have been throwing the Nazi word at people attending the town halls. . it's a bad case of obvious projection. But then ,as many others have already pointed out, if you want to know what a progressive liberal is up to, pay attention to what they accuse others of doing. It really is as simple as that.
We must stop the Health Care Bill, period. There are no acceptable versions of it and any politician that says there are needs to be looking for work after the next election no matter how he ends up voting. No decent American would see anything of worth in this horrendous and unconstitutional bill. This isn't about health care, this is about the government having absolute power over every aspect of your life.
We must all keep our cool and our eyes on the real issues.
Remember they want an incident, they want violence, they want race wars/riots... anything to be able to declare marshal law and invalidate our real grassroots movement.
They want to invalidate us. Do not forget that.
And what is at stake? Our liberty, our freedoms and everything we hold dear.
No matter what they say about us remember the old adage "sticks and stones"....factually correct the record at every opportunity when you can but do not dwell on the names we are called by the MSM and this administration. We cannot change their minds after all.
So, go to the town hall meetings, contact your congressman and have the facts to use as your weapon.Most of them haven't read the bill and have no idea what is in it no matter what they tell you.So be informed, have your notes ready and ask questions....even if you must raise your voice to be heard. These people work for us, not the other way around and they seem to have forgotten that, so as it is with an out of line child sometimes you just have to yell. Just try not to over do it. These aren't the literati we are dealing with ....more like the illiterati....so expect them to be very slow learners. After all in the ivory tower they are used to hanging out in everyone has to treat them with respect that most of them have never earned. It is going to be a sharp learning curve.
And there is another old saying that applies here; "You can always tell who the pioneers are by the arrows in their backs". Let's make sure that none of those arrows are self inflicted or inflicted by people purporting to be on our side. If a pundit's message is the opposite of what you feel in your gut, ignore them. There are always moral cowards in evidence at every turning point in history.
John Steinbeck called them the "carrion talkers"....works for me.

So true.
Sometimes the machines/systems we rely so heavily on develop minds of their own, somewhat like a government bureaucracy, although I may be throwing around big words like "minds" inaccurately.
But anyway, after flogging my comments system roundly last night it finally gave in...hey, I am a mobster according to the government remember?...and now anyone can comment freely without it, The System, asking you , government census taker style, what size your underwear is..........
Now, please be nice so I don't have to enact draconian government Death Care style measures and sic the Typical White Dog on you. Oh she may look cute and all that....but have you ever had a fat lady in high heels dance on your lap? No?

I am Kenneth Gladney's attorney. Kenneth was attacked on the evening of August 6, 2009 at Rep. Russ Carnahan's town hall meeting in South St. Louis County. I was at the town hall meeting as well and witnessed the events leading up to the attack of Kenneth. Kenneth was approached by an SEIU representative as Kenneth was handing out "Don't Tread on Me" flags to other conservatives. The SEIU representative demanded to know why a black man was handing out these flags. The SEIU member used a racial slur against Kenneth, then punched him in the face. Kenneth fell to the ground. Another SEIU member yelled racial epithets at Kenneth as he kicked him in the head and back. Kenneth was also brutally attacked by one other male SEIU member and an unidentified woman. The three men were clearly SEIU members, as they were wearing T-shirts with the SEIU logo.This appalling thug...this backwater cretin that is posing as the president of the United States doesn't understand real Americans because, culturally, he is not a real American. And no, I am not talking about where he was born. He doesn't understand us because he isn't one of us. You cannot spend your formative years in foreign countries and then when you finally land [as an adult] on the mainland spend all your time with the dregs of society wanting to be just like them and understand real Americans. We Americans are speaking a language that is completely foreign to Mr. Chicago Thug Politics, Mr. Socialist, Mr. Hate America First....because we are speaking the language of freedom. One assailant fled on foot; three others were arrested. Kenneth was admitted to St. John's Mercy Medical Center emergency room, where he was treated for his numerous injuries. Kenneth was merely expressing his freedom of speech by handing out the flags. In fact, he merely asked people as they exited the town hall meeting whether they would like a flag. He in no way provoked any argument or altercation, as evidenced by the fact that three assailants were arrested.
We hope that Kenneth fully recovers from his injuries; however, he is in great pain at this time. We will be pursuing legal action at our discretion. This was a truly senseless hate crime carried out by racist union thugs. Regretfully, Representative Carnahan's statement this morning that implies Kenneth is to blame for being a disruptive force is wholly untrue and slanderous. We would like to think that an elected official in Representative Carnahan's position would gather accurate information before carelessly rushing to judgment.
Kenneth supports conservative ideals, although he subscribes to no particular political party. We are calling on the SEIU, Representative Carnahan, and President Obama to condemn the racist actions of these union thugs. In the days to come, we will be investigating whether these thugs are working at the behest of Representative Carnahan and how strong their alliances to various organizations--such as ACORN--may be.
We hope the St. Louis Tea Party and tea party organizations around the country will protest Representative Carnahan's offices and also protest SEIU offices in every major city across the U.S. These Democratic strong-arm tactics must end now.
