In Honor Of An Honorable Man
Derrion Albert is a name that none should forget. Sadly, not enough is known about this sixteen year-old's life...and too much is left unsaid about his death. He was an honors student in Chicago, stamping grounds for our current President, Barack Obama. I mention this because it will become more pertinent as time progresses.
It is alleged that Derrion's death was a result of his refusal to join a gang. Testimony from witnesses say that he was trying to help a fellow student, caught in the middle of a gang fight. All that is certain is that this young man, whose life showed such great promise, sacrificed his life to save another. He is deserving of our respect and all honor, and our prayers go to his family.
Derrion should be alive right now, attending his classes, earning the admiration of his friends and teachers through his hard work and dedication. He should be gazing at a beautiful girl as he makes his way home from school, imagining what it would be like to talk to her, to hold her hand, to gaze into her eyes, to feel the softness of her lips and the warmth of her breath as they share their first kiss. He should be at his dinner table, laughing with his mother who must be so proud of her son, the center of her universe.
Instead, Derrion's lifeless body is on a cold metal slab. He is being cut open, his body laid bare for his autopsy. His mother has wept since she first heard the news, and she weeps still. Even when all the tears are gone from her eyes, she will still weep until she joins her son at God's side. She must make decisions no parent should ever have to make; can she afford to bury him, or must she be forced to burn his remains? Can she bear looking at his photographs on the wall, but could she bear removing them?
She will spend most of her time in his room, breathing his scent and hearing his voice. She will clutch a shirt to her face and close her eyes, knowing that it will not lessen her pain, but knowing that she must find a way to feel him. She will feel a swell of pride in remembering he died as a hero, and yet she will curse herself for raising him to be one. She will blame herself, the monsters that killed her son, the society that allowed such a thing to pass, and even God Himself for creating such evil in the world.
Over and over, she will ask Why? But no answer will ever give her solace. No answer will let her wake from this nightmare to hold her son again.
And every day, she will see her son being killed again and again.
I will not add to his mother's suffering. I will not provide critics to claim that I am politicizing this young man's death by discussing why, ultimately, this tragedy came to pass. For now, I am a parent who greatly fears for the safety of my own children. For now, there is only mourning

Let's start with beating someone to death and follow up with who can sound the most callous and creepy while saying "Daaamn" over and over again often with a slight snicker and admiration in his voice.

The Beginning Of The End?
Iran has just completed a successful test of short- and medium-range missiles (and plans to test a long-range missile Monday), no doubt provided by Russia and/or China, that is capable of reaching Israeli airspace, as well as US bases in the Gulf region. It has also been discovered this week that Iran has a second, secret nuclear plant. And we've had years and years of Iran and other nations of the "peaceful" religion declaring their desire to wipe Israel off the map. Iran refuses to enter into talks that involve their nuclear program, unless it is for us to say "Hey! Welcome to the Nuclear Neighborhood!" Iran has declared that it will respond in a military fashion against any attempts to criticize their actions.
And Obama wants to have unconditional talks with these lunatics. To him, this is still a diplomatic matter, in which he is sure that some agreement can be reached. Oh, and like the UN, he is chastising Israel for their Gaza settlements.
Wake the hell up, you moron. Iran has no intention of heeding diplomatic efforts. They despise us, remember? Does the phrase "America is the Great Satan" ring any bells?
While Bush, Obama, and the UN have been seeking "diplomatic solutions," Iran has become capable of eradicating another country. I doubt they would be so belligerent if they didn't have the means to back up their words with a mushroom cloud. Mahmoud and the Mullahs have shown willingness, almost eagerness to murder their own citizens in the streets for daring to speak against them. Does anyone here honestly think they will be more merciful to Israel? To us?
After Bibi Netanyahu's speech to the UN this week, he made it abundantly clear that he's not going to wait for Iran to make the first strike. Nor should he; with the hatred Mahmoud has been spewing, even the day before Netanyahu's speech, there can be no doubt that as soon as they are able, they will be unloading on Israel with both barrels. There can be no doubt that Iran will try to wipe out Israel in the first salvo. There will be no time for a retaliatory strike; Israel will be a smoking radioactive crater and nearly SEVEN AND A HALF MILLION PEOPLE WILL CEASE TO EXIST.
Iran's actions and words have already declared that the time for talking is over. We, for the sake of our own national security, if not for Israel's or any other country's, need to end this immediately. No more sanctions. No more resolutions. No more of this "unconditional meetings" garbage; the only unconditional thing Iran wants is unconditional surrender. Every available gun and missile in US control needs to be pointed at Tehran. Mahmoud, the Mullahs, and the Ayatollah need to be told that if they are so desperate to have a nuclear weapon, we can certainly send them one. We even have a rapid delivery system for just such requests, and it has an accuracy of reaching its destination that can be measured in INCHES. They don't have to just take our word for it; they can feel free to ask the Japanese how well it works. We sent them two such parcels back in the forties, and boy were they impressed!
I'll make two predictions here, based of the only two possible outcomes of this week:
If Iran strikes first and Israel is destroyed, you will hear very little outcry from the international community at first. Obama will offer more useless speeches, and the UN will offer more useless sanctions. Meanwhile, every tinhorn dictator in the world will be emboldened to seek, develop, and USE a nuclear weapon. And guess who the next target will most likely be? I'll give you a hint; it starts with U, followed by S, and ends it ALL OF US DEAD.
North Korea is actively pursuing a nuclear program, thanks to Bill Clinton. Iran is helping Chavez build centrifuges. Once he's up and running, do you think he's NOT going to offer to provide the technology to any country or group that hates us? And thanks to Obama pissing on all of our allies, who is going to lift a finger in our favor? The UN? The same UN that constantly chastises Israel for defending itself from Hamas and the Palestinian terrorists, who routinely use mosques, hospitals, schools, and private residences as launch pads and storage for their weapons as they bombard the Israelis, even when the Israelis pulled out of Gaza...and yet not even the appearance of a slap on the wrists for Palestine? The same UN that insists that the US be their primary source of income and the teeth behind any resolution they pass, while criticizing the US for being a wealthy nation and trying to muzzle us when we are threatened? The same UN that calls for us to eliminate our nuclear capability while turning a blind eye to extremist countries loading up at every opportunity?
Or is there another UN that actually does what it's supposed to, as per its charter?
So let's look beyond the UN and at the actual countries themselves. On second thought, let's not. Obama has managed to snub ALL of our allies, and the ones he hasn't gotten around to pissing off are probably less than thrilled at the way he's treated the others:
Great Britain: Utter disrespect to the Queen and the government. An iPod filled with his own speeches, and a stack of fifty-cent bargain bin DVDs that won't even play on British DVD players, and refusing meetings with British dignitaries, not to mention Michele Obama pawing at the Queen like she was a tomato in the grocer's bin (maybe is a show of respect in Klingon culture? I'll have to ask one of my Trekker friends.) This would be hard to believe, if it weren't for...
Poland and the Czech Republic: Obama sold both of these countries up the river. They were to have been the sites for the front line of our missile shield. But in an attempt to get Russia to help curtail Iran, Obama was willing to abandon these two allies. Putin, laughing so hard that vodka shot out of his nose, not only told Obama to stick his head in a pig, but also leaked the letter to Poland and the CR, letting them and every other US ally know that Obama was more than willing to abandon them to make himself look good. Wile E. Coyote couldn't have screwed this up worse than Obama, and yet even this pales in comparison to...
Israel: Not only snubbing them. Not only stabbing them in the back. Obama is openly denouncing Israel and declaring that the US will not accept the legitimacy of Israeli settlements. Now let's see here...it's Israel's land, it was their land over 3000 years ago before the Muslims stole it, then the UN gave it back about 60 years ago, they've followed the rules of every treaty, until the Palestinians broke their word (usually before the ink was dried)...then there's the whole "Israel is a sovereign nation while Palestine is a terrorist cell with a lot of land" thing...and Obama thinks Israel is in the wrong.
If Israel is wiped out, it's going to send two messages. One, the US doesn't give a rodent's tuchas about its allies and two, it pays to be a murderous dictator, especially if you are targeting Jews or Christians.
If Israel strikes first, rest assured that every Muslim country in the world will declare war on Israel, and the UN will be rooting them on. And don't be at all surprised if Obama doesn't send our military to bolster the UN. I have little doubt that the UN will revoke Israel's membership, and they may well even invade Israel, declaring every man, woman, and child of Jewish descent a war criminal. The land will be handed to Hamas, and once again Jews will be hounded and driven to wander, forced into hiding, subjugated, and murdered on a greater scale than Hitler ever imagined in his fondest, sweatiest dream.
So to MISTER PRESIDENT and the UN...nice job, you treasonous, cowardly bastards. You've sold our safety to people who seek our destruction. You've not only put the fox in charge of the hen house, you even hired him a chef. Never in the world's history have so many lives been in danger, not even during the Cold War; at least between the US and the USSR, we had the threat of mutually-assured destruction. Iran doesn't give a damn; martyrdom in the name of Jihad is the highest aspiration in their religion. These are people who send their CHILDREN into minefields to clear a path. MAD is something they look forward to.
I fear what is to transpire in the days to come, MISTER PRESIDENT, and may God damn you not only allowing it to come to pass, but for actually ENCOURAGING it. Whether Iran strikes first, or Israel, the blood of those who die will be on your hands, SIR, and on the hands of every soul in the UN who refused to act.

This week's winner is Benjamin Netanyahu.
I urge you to listen or read the text of his speech. To stand before the UN and call them out for their hypocrisy and tell them, on no uncertain terms that if they don't muzzle the Islamo-fascists, then Israel will...dude, that's some mighty big hands there.
I don't agree with all of Bibi's policies; I think he's drunk too deeply of the Global Warming/Cooling/Partly Cloudy Kool-aid, but one thing I do agree with; Israel deserves the right to exist and they are well within their rights as a nation to defend itself against attack, by any means necessary. I applaud their restraint in dealing with Hamas and with the threats from Mahmoud Ahmadingaling and his Mullah puppetmasters. Me, I would have bombed the hell out of them both years ago, salted the earth and defiled their graves, the UN be damned.

Weakness
So we've all seen/read how Obama wants to scrap our nukes. So much for hope and change; has there been a single Democrat since Kennedy that hasn't stated it as a goal? The only difference here is that this idiot (and I'm calling his white half an idiot, so no racism) may actually manage to do it.
He's already abandoned our allies in Poland and the Czech Republic. He's already abandoned those protesting for freedom in Iran. He's already taken a page from Carter's foreign policy and abandoned Israel.
I'm guessing these guys were wishing Obama had just sent them an iPod and been on his merry way.
Sucking up to our nation's enemies is not sound foreign policy. It's not even common sense. Cutting our ability to defend ourselves against incoming missiles, bailing on Iraq before they are fully able to handle the job themselves, shorting Afghanistan on soldiers and allowing the Taliban to gain even more territory, supporting Zelaya's attempt at dictatorship while shunning Democracy in Honduras, book exchanges with Chavez, sending billions in stimulus money (OUR tax dollars) to that mutant Kim Jung-Il, sucking up to Putin, sucking up to Mahmoud and the Mullahs, sucking up to the Castro Brothers, sucking up to China....
Something you need to understand, MISTER PRESIDENT, is that when you negotiate from a position of strength, YOU set the terms. If you negotiate from a position of weakness, all you are negotiating is your surrender.
That is the position you are negotiating from. The USA, the strongest country in the world, the single greatest bastion of freedom, does NOT go to other countries with hat in hand. It does not apologize to countries that have committed true atrocities. It does not suck up to its enemies. It does not abandon its allies. It does not sell its sovereignty for cheap adulation.
Your job, MISTER PRESIDENT, is to make sure another 9/11 does not occur. So far, I see NONE of your policies doing a damn thing to make us any safer.

Debunking ObamaCare
Part 3: You Have a Doctor, Madam...If You Can Keep Him.
Doctors have learned the hard way not to trust the government, especially when they claim they are going to fix something. Many doctors refuse to see Medicare patients simply because the government pays mere pennies on the dollar for the services rendered. But it goes much deeper than that.
First off, do you know how much it costs to get through med school? Lots. You are looking at a minimum of seven years to get a license to practice, and even the cheaper schools charge more for one term than most people make in an entire year. Then there is the cost of books (often more expensive than the tuition), and whatever other supplies you may need (often more expensive than the books), then there is all that pesky having-a-place-to-live-and-eating-every-once-and-a-while habit we humans have. So unless your last name is Gates, Soros, or Kennedy, chances are you are going to be taking out some major loans.
But you finally persevere and get your sheepskin. You're ready for that Porsche and a house in the Hamptons, right?
Wrong-o. You get to enjoy a few years of internship. Basically, you and your fellow graduates are now Igors. If you are lucky, you will be making about 30 grand a year. Roughly half of that will be going towards paying off your loans. You now have about as much available income as anyone making 7 bucks an hour, for a forty hour work week.
Forty hour work week? HAH! That would be a vacation! It's not uncommon for interns to work SEVENTY TWO HOUR SHIFTS. Sometimes back-to-back. But that's okay; you didn't want to go back to that crappy one-room apartment with no bathroom anyway. And the great thing about ramen noodles is you can cook them just about anywhere. I mean, it's not like you have a social life! PFFT! You don't even have a car, let alone enough change in your pocket to buy your date a trip to a pay phone! More than likely, you are currently maxing out your credit card, then getting another credit card to pay on the first, then a third to pay on the second. Or borrowing money like a Democrat in Beijing. Either way, you are wracking up more and more debt.
Finally, you are free from your slavery and you can go out and start your own practice. Right? Heh, shine on, you crazy diamond; this is where the REAL money starts flowing...right out of your hands. Office space, zoned and equipped for medical practice, equipment, meds, assistants, appointment-setters, office manager, advertising, STILL paying off all your loans and now you gotta get malpractice insurance.
Thanks to all those lovely lawyers in DC, if your patient has an infected hangnail, and you miss it while diagnosing his brain tumor, it's considered YOUR FAULT. You can and likely will be sued for MILLIONS. So you have to buy the insurance, which can cost tens of thousands of dollars PER MONTH. Which means you are going to be testing your patients for things that would make Greg House say "What the hell is THAT??"
All those extra (and generally unnecessary) tests cost money. This is why going to the doctor is so expensive and one of the reasons health insurance premiums are so high. Then comes the Medicare patient. The doctor treats the patient, and does all the extra tests...and then the government stiffs him. Which means he has to eat that cost. Which means in order to keep food on his own table, he has to charge higher rates to offset.
It's actually worse at the hospital level; not only do they have the same problems as the guy with his own office, but they also have the Emergency Room; one of the only places left where it's actually legal to dine-and-dash. ER treatment is ungodly expensive because of the massive numbers of people who come in, get treated, then never pay the bill. One of the biggest culprits in this are our wonderful undocumented workers, which we will discuss in a later installment.
With all this happening, it's a wonder anyone wants to go into medicine. With ObamaCare, there will be even LESS incentive to do so; you won't be able to offset the cost of taking people with government-run health care, because EVERYONE will be on government-run health care. There will be fewer doctors (according to a recent poll, about half of the doctors questioned said they would seriously consider quitting if HR3200 comes to pass) and many, many more patients. And when there is not enough supply to meet the demand, we have RATIONING.
The remaining doctors will not be able to handle such a workload; most of them are already maxed out on the number of patients they can receive. This is why, when you go to the doctor, he's seeing you and probably five other people at the exact same time. They must take on more patients than they can handle to pay for all the expenses of the practice, which forces them to rush, which makes it more likely that the doctor will make a mistake. To protect themselves, they must pay for malpractice insurance and the cost is shifted to the patient. The long lines to see a physician will begin almost immediately, and they will grow longer. In an effort to shorten the lines, a group of people will have to be placed, and they will determine who gets treated first, and the rest will just have to wait. They will decide whether or not treating your particular ailment will be cost-effective (remember, there's not going to be enough money to go around either, as per our discussion in Part 2.)
How will they decide who gets what? Well, Rahm Emanual's brother has already fund that solution. It's called QALY. It's a curve chart that bases priority on your ability to contribute to society as a whole! Kids under ten and adults over 40 are considered less valuable than those people between 10 and 40. People with disabilities or chronic ailments are also less able to contribute, so they too will be bumped in favor of the whole and fit. And for the elderly...well, old people aren't expected to live much longer anyway. If Grandpa needs a kidney, it would be selfish of him to get it when a 20 year old needs one, even if the 20 year old has one good kidney and Grandpa's fresh out.
Yes, Virginia...there most certainly will be rationing of health care. Obama has already created an economic crisis by jacking our deficit into the trillions, with more spending on the way. The sudden influx of millions of new patients, coupled with a sudden dearth of physicians caused by the passage of HR3200 and the public option with create another crisis. The spike in unemployment as the wealthy can no longer afford to hire people or keep them employed, and small businesses collapse under the weight of additional taxes makes it a hat-trick; plenty of crises to force rationing, which will be governed by what can best be described as...drumroll, please....

Massive Manos Award 9/18/09
This week's Massive Manos Award goes to....
JIMMY CARTER!
That's right, you read it right. You have not spontaneously developed dyslexia, nor have I completely lost my marbles. Not completely.
Ex-President Carter came out in an interview, saying that the people who disagree with Obama's healthcare plan were only doing so because Obama happens to be black.
Really. So, no one in America ever dissented against socialized healthcare or voiced disgust at a politician lying to the public prior to Obama? I seem to recall that Americans were less than thrilled when Hillary proposed much the same thing; but I guess that would make us misogynists first, then racists. So I guess if a squirrel offers a single-payer plan and people protest, then we hate small fuzzy animals too.
But let's examine Mr. Peanut's statement in full. As of this writing, Rasmussen reports that 56% of Americans disagree with the healthcare plan proposed by Obama and the Democrats. That's a representation of over half of the entire country, whereas caucasians represent about a two-thirds of the population, including children, which account for approximately 73.9 million out of the 300 million believed to be in the USA, or roughly 25% of the total population. But say we leave the kids out of it; they aren't voters yet, and likely don't know enough about the matter to have formed their own opinions (also ignoring the constant indoctrination taking place in our public schools.) If we assume that every race is having roughly the same number of kids (despite the RACIST facts that minority families have a larger number of children per household) then the 200 million drops to about 150 million, which is about half of the entire population of the US.
So if only 50% of the population is comprised of adult caucasians, then who is the other 6% disagreeing with Obama? Lawn furniture? It certainly appears to me that it's not just whites who disapprove of HR 3200, Mr. Carter. So apparently, that 6% that is comprised of non-white adults are...racist?
Let's get this straight...if a black man disagrees with Obama's healthcare plan, he does so because he's prejudiced against blacks? A self-hating black? But then, it's been the contention of the Dems that non-white people can't be racist. But only racists hate Obama's policy...but only whites can be racist...but non-whites hate Obama's policy...but...race...policy...white...Obama...hate....

Debunking ObamaCare
Part 2: Ten Trillion Single Dimes
Obama makes the claim that HR3200 will not add a single dime to the deficit. In the same breath, he also said he has a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, and has several pieces of the True Cross available on E-Bay, so you'd better hurry!
Medicare, Medicaid, and the VA; all three are government-run health care systems. All three are rife with corruption and fraud. All three have been hemorrhaging money almost since their inception. All three are essentially bankrupt. But this time, they're gonna get it right!
Sorry. I was born on a Wednesday, but it wasn't LAST Wednesday. Right now, about half the money the government is spending is borrowed, and most of that is borrowed from countries like China, who don't particularly like us. And despite what the government would like you to believe, they didn't have any money to begin with.
Every penny the government receives comes from our pockets, whether it is money to pay for ridiculous multi-trillion dollar health care legislation or the pencils used by their staffers or the tuition costs for their precious sons and daughters to attend private schools (which they no longer allow our kids to attend.) The government does not and never has generated revenue. They can print it, but they can't actually make it.
The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has repeatedly called Obama on his lie; in the first ten years, HR3200 would cost over $200,000,000,000.00. That's billions, and that's a very, very low-ball estimate; chances are, based on how most spending bills tend to go, it will be twice that, or more. In twenty years, that price tag shoots up to over $1,000,000,000,000.00, as in trillion. And that's all just the deficit spending. HR3200 will encompass one sixth of our entire national economy.
So far, Obama has not been very clear on where this money is going to come from. He, and others in his party, have claimed it would come from a tax hike on cigarettes, taxing the rich, fees from businesses who do not currently offer insurance to their employees, soda tax, and "cutting wasteful spending in Medicare."
Taxing smokers to pay for this is utter foolishness. You could double the current taxes on smokes and it wouldn't be a drop in the bucket. Plus, if you increase the price of cigarettes, more people will have to quit smoking. That reduces the revenue. In order to maintain the fixed level or revenue required to fund any long-term project, they would have to raise the tax again. More people will quit smoking. And on and on. And just for irony, smokers will be given short shrift at the doctor's offices; if you drink, smoke, do drugs, or engage in any other behavior that the government deems unhealthy, you will be given a lower priority than people who lead cleaner, safer lifestyles.
Taxing the rich is everyone's favorite boogaboo. After all, they're rich. Surely they can afford it. Share that wealth, Monopoly Guy! But this too is unsustainable; it is the wealthier 10 percent of the country that are providing jobs for the rest of us. Pull too much from them, and they will be less inclined to expand their workforce or start up new companies. Quite a few may decide to reduce their workforce to maintain their own level of comfort. And I can't blame them; altruism is a wonderful thing, but you have to take care of your own needs, or you won't be able to take care of anyone else. So, as with taxing cigarettes, the revenue would lessen. To sustain the level needed, the government would be forced to redefine "wealthy." 250K isn't getting enough cash flow in, so the government must drop it down to everyone making 200K. The same problem arises again, and they drop the level down to 150K, and so on. And note: even if they taxed everyone making over 250K by ONE HUNDRED PERCENT, it still wouldn't be enough to cover half the cost of HR3200.
Also note, with jobs becoming fewer and fewer, more people will be forced onto the public dole, and no additional tax revenue to accommodate them.
Placing fees on businesses to pay for ObamaCare ends the same way. Businesses will not be able to afford the fees, so they will have to either cut their workforce or close up shop entirely. Cutting the workforce increases the unemployment rate, increase the burden on welfare, and we wind up in another one of those lovely downward spirals.
Soda tax and taxes on other less-healthy foods runs identical to the cigarette tax; make these things more expensive guarantees fewer people will be buying them.
And lastly, cutting Medicare. Given the massive pending influx of baby-boomers retiring, like, TOMORROW, Medicare is going to need every penny it can grab. Cutting Medicare means a lot of elderly are not going to be getting the care they need; there simply won't be enough money to go around. Hello, rationing!

Debunking ObamaCare
Part 1: It's Just Good Business
Say you own a business. You provide a service and you are competing with other businesses that provide the same service. I won't get into stock options and all that jazz, mainly because it doesn't actually change a thing. You compete for customers. There are two things you MUST do to insure you stay in business; you have to provide good service and you must make enough money to turn a profit while covering the cost for the building you work from, the people who work for you, and the cost of providing the service itself.
If your service suffers, you lose customers, which in turn loses you revenue and you go belly-up. It's a fine line you must skirt; if you charge too much, you lose customers. If you charge too little, you can't afford to stay in business. The better service you provide, the more it costs you to provide it, and that price is reflected onto your customers. Many customers are willing to pay a little extra for the better service, but most people just can't afford it, so you provide a cheaper alternative; not as much service, but at a price that more people can afford.
Everyone's playing at pretty much the same level. Everyone has to hold that thin green line.
Then a new competitor enters the game, but this new guy has seemingly unlimited income and offers his service for free. Things start getting really hairy for you and the other competitors. You can't compete with free service, even if they are providing crappy service. You see a huge chunk of your customers leaving in droves, and they are taking their money with them. Suddenly, you aren't making enough money to stay in business. You can't compete with Mr. Freebie; the best you can manage is to drastically lower your prices and hope your remaining customers stay out of loyalty. But with that lowered revenue comes more problems.
You have to fire a lot of your workers. Workers are expensive; you HAVE to pay them, whether you can afford to or not. So you reduce your workforce. Now you are no longer able to offer the same quality of service you had in the past. You lose more customers. Add to that the customers that leave because they are being told by Mr. Freebie that you are a horrible person, firing so many employees like that. The only "option" left to you is to continue reducing your workforce, which further reduces the quality of service, which drives even MORE customers away, which lowers your revenue, which forces you to reduce your workforce, and on and on in a downward spiral.
Oh, and Mr. Freebie's supposedly unlimited income? It's actually coming from mandatory charges to your customers AND to your business; even if you aren't a customer of Mr.Freebie's, you are still paying for it.
Now you are out of options. You can't afford to pay your workers, you can't afford to provide decent service, you aren't even making enough to be able to stay in business. And all your previous competition is in the same boat. Very soon, Mr. Freebie is the only one left.
ObamaCare is not going to be competing with private insurance; the guy with the hammer does not compete with a cow in a slaughterhouse.

Speechless
Not only have the House Democrats, in a vote that was very much down party lines, decided that Joltin' Joe Wilson (R-SC) must be punished for calling Obama a liar, (when he was lying, no less! The nerve!!) not only is he being branded a racist for his words, but now the House Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-NY) is actually banning the use of certain words on the House Floor.
Amongst the verboten language, in regards to speech used while speaking of the President, is:
Liar
Intellectually Dishonest
Hypocrite
Cowardly
References to giving aid and comfort to the enemy
References to any sexual misconduct by the President
Please consider what is being done here; Rep. Slaughter, who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, is blatantly ignoring the First Amendment Right to Freedom of Speech. Not just as a matter of decorum...this sort of talk is banned without provision. Please call your Representative. Call ALL the Representatives. Flood the e-mail system. Remind these LYING, INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST, HYPOCRITICAL, COWARDLY, ENEMY-APPEASING, PERVERSION-ENABLING SCUM that they do NOT have the power to ignore the First Amendment. Encourage EVERY politician that ever claimed to hold the Constitution and the freedoms of our country in any kind of esteem to stand up in the middle of the next session and loudly use any and all of these "forbidden" words, and DEMAND that this assault on the first of our fundamental rights be stricken.
And while you're at it, think and chew on this; Madam Speaker Pelosi recently accused, repeatedly, the CIA of lying to her and to Congress. Such an act is a federal offense, perjury, and it carries a five year prison sentence per count.
Obama, at last count, lied at least ten times in his speech last week. Not just alleged lies, but proven, verifiable FACT that he was lying. I will not believe that ignorance played any part in this; not from His Highness, touted as one of the smartest people in the world. Within minutes of his speech, bloggers and reporters from both sides of the fence enumerated Obama's prevarications. Even the AP, who has rivaled NBC itself in its gushing, nauseating, and borderline criminal cheer-leading for The Most Holy Light-bringer, was calling shenanigans on the speech. I absolutely refuse to believe that Obama and his henchmen have LESS access to information than I do.
So Obama should, by any reasonable account, be facing FIFTY YEARS IN PRISON right now. So where is the call for investigation? Where are the subpoenas? Where is the outcry?
Probably the same place Obama and the rest of his liberal horde left their honesty, integrity, and patriotism.

The blog LGF used to be a conservative leaning blog I am told.
I personally never saw that side of it. By the time I read any of it I found it to be an idiotic and rather mindless mixture of equal parts 7th grade and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
Charles decided who could talk, and who had valid opinions...in other words only people that agreed with him verbatim. It was an appalling display of a very petty bully who had no respect for the concept of free speech. He banned people for stating their own opinions, for having faith, for thinking for themselves. In other words the only difference between him and the owner of Daily Kos was success.
So I wasn't terribly surprised when I read that prior to 9/11 Charles was a liberal.
Oh, no kidding.
Charles became a conservative on 9/11 and he became an expert on what being a conservative meant on 9/12. Frankly, if it takes watching planes fly into buildings and the death of 2,996 of your fellow Americans to become a conservative; perhaps you aren't so much a conservative as you are a cowardly joiner.
Don't get me wrong...many many decent people really did see the light on 9/11....I just don't think Charles was one of them.
And now, as we watch Charles' not-so-slow decent into madness where he sees Nazis everywhere and people of faith are considered "flat earthers" in his perverted view, I find myself having to look away.
After all, only a cretin would enjoy such a spectacle.

Massive Manos Award 9/12/09
Like a shot heard 'round the world, like Paul Revere's famous ride through the night, Joe Wilson (R-SC) joins a depressingly small list of people truly possessed of cast-iron....hands.
During Obama's speech to the House, Joltin' Joe apparently had enough of being forced to sit through lie after lie streaming from the Royal Oral Cavity. The President insisted that his health care plan would absolutely not cover illegal aliens, to which the Representative shouted out "You lie!" It was probably the only honest thing said in the House that day.
Democrats hurled epithets at Bush for most of the eight years he spent in office with no one saying boo about it, their jack-boots carried signs, calling him a murderer, a Nazi, a terrorist, demanding his removal and, in a few cases, his death. As he left office, he was booed and hissed at, shoes were thrown at him, and in the press, our elected officials called him a liar and a loser.
Setting the clear-cut hypocrisy aside, what this boils down to is Joe Wilson is being slammed for telling the truth, while Obama is praised for telling lies.
Of course, Obama was lying. He claims illegals won't be covered, and there is even a little line in the 1000+ page bill that says so. But what you won't find anywhere in there is how will we know if illegals are being covered. There is no provision to verify the legal status of a patient; in fact, the Democrats voted AGAINST provisions to clarify such a thing. There is no listing of penalties for illegals attempting to defraud doctors and hospitals. And in the nature of such bills, anything that is not included is deemed included.
Joe called Obama on his lie. And in what I can only describe as an act of cowardice, GOP leadership demanded he apologize. And so he did. Me, I would have said "Bite me. Obama is lying, and you want me to apologize for calling him on it? Fine. When Obama apologizes, I'll apologize."
So Joe phoned an apology to the White House. Like I said, not what I would have done. But after, Joe did the next best thing; he told the public he was basically ordered to apologize, and that he wasn't even the slightest bit sorry. Considering how many non-apologies we hear from the left, it's nice to see someone on the right throwing their tactics in their faces. And apparently We The People aren't too upset over this "lapse in decorum"...in 48 hours, Joe raised over a million bucks for his 2010 campaign war chest.
Another worthy pair of the Massive Manos award are James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, the two budding reporters who went undercover into ACORN offices, posing as a pimp with political aspirations and his prostitute girlfriend, who wanted help buying a house to run her brothel. Oh, and the other girls would be illegals from El Salvador, all between 13 and 16 years of age. Rather than show these two the door, the ACORN people actually advised them on how to do this without getting caught, and even getting the tax payers to subsidize their little child prostitution ring. And it wasn't just one office, it was the Baltimore AND the DC offices that were caught on tape.
ACORN stands to receive over EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS from Obama's last stimulus bill, money taken from OUR pockets. Until this story broke on Fox, ACORN was going to running the 2010 US Census.
O'Keefe and Giles are risking their lives by doing this. ACORN is a ruthless domestic mercenary group and the White House is completely sympathetic to them. With this much money at stake, it would not be beyond the realm of possibility, or even probability, that certain people would pay handsomely to see these two young people the victims of some "accident." I imagine that, were he still alive, he'd be offering to take them on an all-expense paid tour of Chappaquiddick. The bridges are quite lovely this time of year, I'm told.
But the gargantuan grip doesn't end there; here's the linky goodness of a statement O'Keefe made to CNN's request for an interview, basically telling them to go...eh...do unmentionable things to themselves.

Score One For Ghostie
The first time I spoke with our esteemed hostess what a few weeks back on Ace of Spade's site. She and I got into a discussion which led back here to her article about Bill O'Reilly.
I've been watching Bill for a little while now, and I feel that he represents himself as right of center, and likes to give people the benefit of the doubt, including our Lord and Master Obama. On this, I strongly disagree with Billy Boy; how many times does someone have to lie to you before you finally say "Dude, what the hell?"
CGhost doesn't care much for Bill at all, and after this I can hardly blame her:
Bill has completely missed the point Ann Coulter is trying to make. He holds that we can't say Obama was lying about his Marxist health care plan because we have not seen a final version. Until a version passes and is signed into law that contradicts what Obama said in his BS speech to Congress, it can not be said that he is lying.
That's the problem, Bill. He is lying about what is actually in the bill NOW, in the version Obama wants passed. And in that version, there are absolutely no provisions to catch illegals trying to gain free health care, nor any means to punish them if they do. And in the nature of such bills, what is omitted is considered included.
When the lie is proven, as Bill would see it, it will be too late; Obama's plan will be all but impossible to rescind. It's not a matter of getting enough votes to repeal HR 3200, it's the fact that the sweeping changes will be so massive that getting out of this disastrous plan will cause even greater harm to the health care system and our economy. And since this travesty will not go into effect until AFTER the 2012 election, using HR 3200 as a weapon against Obama will be like having a Howitzer filled with blanks.
Bill, we can't do it your way and wait. Nor should we. After being caught in lie after lie after lie, Obama has forfeited any benefit of the doubt he may have been entitled to. He has proven himself untrustworthy and unfit to be the leader of this great nation. Lambasting Joe Wilson for telling the truth, however inappropriate the time and setting may have been, is wrong. We do not punish people for being honest. Why do you insist on rewarding someone who is lying?

In memory of Luis Clodoaldo Revilla- Mier
In memory of Luis Clodoaldo Revilla- Mier who was killed in the the attacks on 9/11. Luis was in the WTC on that horrible day, working hard as he always did.
Luis worked for Washington Group International.
He was married on October 4th,1997 to his lovely wife Nancy.
He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and was only 54 years old at the time of his death.

Noted Liar and fascist Gives Speech....Nation Yawns....

So tonight, the current occupant of the White House gave his 1,387th speech proposing government-run healthcare. It was perhaps the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard, and the most painful political spectacle to ever be televised from a joint session of Congress.Read the rest here at Out West....completely worth the read before you get my female take on it.
This fool Obama went out of his way to insult his opponents, and to blame the problem on his predecessor.
And here's my take on it:
Even I was surprised by the complete lack of truth and most especially depth in this tedious forty five minute plus lecture
Frankly, Obama owes a big thank you to Rep. Joe Wilson ...who seems to be the one and only politician that knows a lie when he hears one. If Wilson hadn't just had enough and shouted out "You lie" at Obama....who would have awakened the audience?
Really, Michelle Obama was trying to do her part by showing up in her fat suit even after she had fallen in a tank of Pepto Bismol...what a trooper! If that get-up didn't keep people awake because they were having one WTF? moment after another...what would?
After all, when you think Mrs.O you think "guns"...you know; her famous bare and ripped arms. Last night however those famous arms seemed more intent on pulling an incredible hulk moment by just ripping out the seams of that "dress" she was encased in...I kept waiting for the loud ripping noise at which point the "most beautiful woman in the world" would just ,to paraphrase TFMo here; give a viking shriek and leap over the chairs to rip out Wilson's throat with her big horse teeth.
Instead she just Tsk-ed Tsk-ed with her head. But in her defense I'm pretty sure her head was the only thing she could move freely without a ripping sound....
I know we all describe watching politics as watching sausage being made...we are used to that. But having a sausage actually show up at a political event is another thing altogether.
Too harsh? Too bad.
We are constantly being lectured to by the likes of Michelle Obama and her creepy husband on how selfish we all are...well Michelle, didn't your mother ever tell you there were starving children in China? How many families are you eating for exactly?
Please tell me it's not getting ready to spawn......
As for her husband's speech...boring, riddled with lies and partisan cheap shots.

Hey, I Have A Great Idea...Let's "Nationalize" The Wineries And Vineyards Next...
Just imagine the money that could flow into the Fed's coffers then...
Turning grapes into the economic engine the government really needs!
After all, wineries aren't necessary are they? Unless of course you are an elitist and we know that no one on the left wants to be a greedy capitalist pig much less an elitist, now do they? They want to spread the wealth around, they want to help the poor and down trodden...so why not start right in their own backyards?
I'm sure they just over looked this potential gold mine for the federal government because they were so busy pointing fingers at everyone else working on the health care bill.
I'm sure that's all it was...a mere oversight.
Not only would the Feds have a lot more real money to buy pork help the poor, but quite a few nasty problems could be solved too.
Alcohol is linked to approximately 75,000 deaths per year in the US alone, about 40,000 of those are from drunk driving accidents. Think of the hospital bills, the court costs, the cost of incarceration, the cost of police and the very real cost to the families that are destroyed by alcohol.
If anything can ruin a holiday for a family faster than your crazy Uncle Joe ...it's alcohol. Oh sure, most people use it responsibly, but, and this is the big but...what about all those that don't? I heard there were approximately 48 million of them!
And then there are the illegal immigrants that the vineyards hire every year....what do you think they do when they are assaulted by a vicious toe cramp or work related injury? Why they go to the ER of course....on your dime. Check out the ER on a Friday night in Napa county.....
And here the silly Feds have been worried about smokers...oh, please, have you ever heard of anyone lighting up a cigarette and then mowing down a family of five?
Of course not.
We can start with Nancy Pelosi's vineyard. I mean, really, she doesn't even know if it's worth five million or twenty five million....so I'm sure she would be more than happy to part with most of it. After all, she is a big stickler for fairness; as she is always pointing out it's not fair for some people to have things that others don't.
Well, I don't have a vineyard and I'm pretty sure most of you don't either. So really, how fair is that?
And if the wineries and vineyards were nationalized think how much less expensive the product would be. Why we could afford to pay for all the alcohol related costs and counseling then couldn't we?
Right now it's just unsustainable......look at the cost of a bottle of wine; is there no end to this horror?
And there are so many of these houses of horror wineries that are right under our elected officials noses...many of them owned by the aforementioned elected officials.
Like Gavin Newsom....and he already came up with a battle cry for nationalizing the wineries for us, the dear.
"The door's wide open, it's going to happen, whether you like it or not"
He, of course, must mean the door to his winery. What a trooper!
And Gavin, a graduate of my Alma Mater, is such a caring person he promised to focus on the environment, homelessness, health care, education,and housing....so I know he's on board with this idea.
What better place to start than in the oppressive fields of the Grapes of Wrath?

Mike Thompson and the Town Hall meeting Kabuki Theater Part Two...
Mike Thompson Princess Gin Blossom was so smart and efficient thanks to all that "good boy! heel" training he was given by his BFF master Nancy Pelosi that he color coded the idiots he was going to call on at his town hall meeting to avoid any of that icky icky reality in the form of real questions from real people.
Remember the union thug-o-crat that showed up wearing lavender? Yes, such a manly color for a guy that looked like he spent most of his spare time trying to snag an appearance on The Sopranos as an extra...
Who knew that Backroom Bob Beckel had a creepier brother?
Well, lavender and purple were the code....no need for any fancy decoder rings with this bunch of idiots, he wore lavender, he talked to lavender. How slick can you get?
But then what did I really expect from the toadies of a Pelosi toady like Princess Gin Blossom?
Princess Gin Blossom....he's so important he had "Tea with Saddam"
I guess you could say that Mike Thompson only approves of Tea parties when they are with Dictators...
But before the meeting I was lucky to experience "the crowd" of mindless drones that they had used their Bat-Phone to call in; starting with this charmer:
Yes it smelled and yes it was ignorant and rude...was I surprised? Yeah, not so much...
The tubby little troll you see in pink in the background was handing out fliers for guess who? Planned Parenthood that's who. When she walked up to me I politely declined a flier at which point *creepy guy*, as I "fondly" refer to him, turned around and asked me "Why aren't you interested in Women's Health?" in a slightly snide and aggressive tone. Okay, I am just not the shrinking violet type but at the same time this guy looked like a human tube sock....and he didn't look particularly sane either. So I just said "Oh yeah and that coming from a man....please."
Countdown till he calls me a racist in 3-2-1.....
He whipped his tubular head back around to the front and then whipped back around and asked me "Why are you afraid of brown people?"
Afraid of brown people WTF?
Okay that really ripped it for me and I said "Did you just call me a racist?"
He then started mumbling and made several nonsensical excuses and was seriously flummoxed that I had the nerve to call him on his BS. Really?
You could really tell who the "supporters" of the health care scheme were quite easily; if their shoes looked as if they had been made by a half blind Inuit woman who was just about to be dumped on an ice floe [Barry's low tier medical care] then they were cool. The rest of us "squares" stood out for our nasty penchant for bathing and wearing clean clothes...a big no no in this group.
After they crammed about 600 people in an auditorium that officially held 400....and it was very warm and muggy....Princess Gin Blossom announced that everyone had to wait while he went "live" on the local station, and that would take another half hour.
Well, in Thompson's defense I'm sure his master Pelosi was watching...plus, how could a certified media whore like Thompson pass up an opportunity to be on TV?
People ,the normal ones anyway, were exceptionally polite and vastly outnumbered by the bought and paid for fools. Oh, and "volunteers". Remind me to send Princess Gin Blossom a dictionary next week so he can share with his "volunteers" that volunteers don't get paid.....by definition.
The nasty little piece of work that whinnied about how tough it was to be a "volunteer"...Phyllis Berg. She actually walked all the way down to the front rows where we were sitting and grabbed a folded piece of paper out of my friend's hand while hissing "No signs!"...the paper he had folded and was using to fan himself because of the excessive heat and stuffiness in the room. The paper that was one of the fliers supporting Barack Obama's takeover of health care. But then she wouldn't have noticed that until too late because she knew we weren't one of them. Gosh....I wonder how she knew that?

But the brave little soldier Phyllis had her "job" to do....NO SIGNS, remember? So how did that go?
Not so well I would say considering Phyllis couldn't even do her job. By the way...these signs were about 10 feet to her left and she was looking right at them......sorry about the photo quality....but you get the point.
The meeting itself was a parody of Kabuki theater. Thompson called on pre-screened people...."the lady in the purple, the man in the red"...red and purple, now who could have seen that coming? SEIU and ACORN colors ...I'm shocked, just shocked I tell you.
Sadly for Thompson the people he called on were so stupid that they couldn't even remember to act surprised that he called on them. Several of them actually said things along the lines of "Hey Mike...nice to see you again"
At which point old Princess Gin Blossom would flush even more than usual just before his "question asker" launched into a long and tedious and harrowing....I mean really harrowing, man.....account of a toe cramp that no insurance company...the evil bastards...would ever cover. No matter how many times they went into the ER!
Yes, truly shocking stuff....enough to bring a tear to your eye if you were one of them.
Then, somehow a normal person gamed the system and was allowed to ask a question. Her question was basically "How fair is it to make the money I work hard for less valuable because other people won't work?"

Once again, sorry for the picture quality but the room was dim and so was the "bulb" in the photo. He was also leaping around in his chair as if being electrocuted; most likely just having a flashback to his last shock therapy session.
He had to be removed by the police....but you never would have known that it was one of Thompson's devoted followers that was removed for being out of line if you watched the news later that night.
What a surprise...okay, once again not really....
And I should add that Mike Thompson the so-called Blue Dog Democrat votes over 98% of the time with his party. So what makes him a blue dog democrat? Check his voting record....he always votes No before he votes Yes.

HONOR
Yet another reason the Associated Press desperately needs to go off into a corner and screw itself slowly with a chainsaw.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates is objecting “in the strongest terms” to an Associated Press decision to transmit a photograph showing a mortally wounded 21-year-old Marine in his final moments of life, calling the decision “appalling” and a breach of “common decency.” The AP reported that the Marine’s father had asked – in an interview and in a follow-up phone call — that the image, taken by an embedded photographer, not be published. The AP reported in a story that it decided to make the image public anyway because it “conveys the grimness of war and the sacrifice of young men and women fighting it.”
Appalling doesn't begin to cover it.
Lance Corporal Josh Bernard was hit in an attack, yet another Taliban ambush in Afghanistan. This brave young man, this hero to our nation, enlisted in the Marines, knowing full well that he stood a high chance of not coming home alive. And yet he enlisted anyway. He chose to risk life and limb to protect me, my children, my wife, and the wives, husbands, children, siblings, parents and friends of every man, woman, and child in our nation. He chose to help free an entire nation from oppression., and to help defeat an enemy that seeks to convert, enslave, or kill every living human being on the planet.
And in his dying moments, some cowardly slug from AP shoved a camera in his face. Lance's father caught wind of this and repeatedly begged the AP not to use the photo, begged these vultures to preserve his son's dignity and the honor due him by his deeds.
AP needed more attention, so tough crap. Screw the dying soldier, screw his grieving family, the AP needed to make a point. After all, they've lost quite a bit of credibility, shirking their duties as journalists in favor carrying water for the Communist In Chief. What better way to re-establish their integrity than spitting on a stricken family at their lowest and using the death of a true hero like...well, I can't even find an analogy that compares to this.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Bernard family, not only for their great loss, but for the horrid treatment they have received from the Obamaganda Press.

The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words is just so true sometimes....
First this car rolled in as we were standing in line.....from Oregon.
Either it's an official Mike Thompson peace-mobile or it's a Mercedes that drove all the way from Portland. Tsk tsk tsk...
Then this caricature-on-legs slithered out of it. Seriously you could smell the sleazy boss hog cologne and cigar smoke from twenty feet away. Can you say union thug-o-crat? The hair plugs and the bald spot he had actually sprayed with that fake hair were a really nice touch.
Sometimes you just can't believe your eyes...or make this stuff up. I had to cough to keep from just laughing out loud....
That Mike Thompson...he sure knows some classy people.

Then he began to "work" the crowd...but he was very specific in who he talked to and he went directly to them, right out of his car. Can you tell how he knew who to talk to yet?

We Are Not Amused

That's right folks. On Obama's official page, he called those of us who disagree with his policies and dare say so aloud RIGHT WING DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.
Between the DHS report and this, is there any question in anyone's mind that Obama considers all of us who pay taxes and obey the laws of this land and uphold the Constitution as CRIMINALS? Someone who associates closely with the likes of Bill Ayers, Bernie Dorn, Jeff Jones, Van Jones, the SEIU, ACORN, and a whole cavalcade of anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-FREEDOM scum has the temerity to accuse over half of our country of being domestic terrorists??
DO NOT LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THIS.
Don't bother demanding an apology, people; he's a liar. His campaign and the last eight months have proven that. He's NOT sorry.
But here is what you CAN do:
Send this article to everyone you know. Send it to every news outlet you can find. Post a link on every blog you frequent. Send it to every member of Congress and Senate, whether they represent you or not. Send it to your state legislature and to your governor, to your mayor, to the superintendent of your local school district. Send it to every member of the military you know, from five-star general to the lowest buck private. If you have kids, print it out, take it to the principal, and let them know that on September 8, your child will not be forced to listen to a President who seeks to criminalize you for disagreeing with him. Send it to every talk radio host, left or right. Flood the internet with this travesty, and FORCE the Despotic Communist in DC to face the music, FORCE the MSM lackeys to report it. Put this in front of every eye, tell it to every ear, and speak it from every mouth in our country: We are NOT criminals, we are NOT terrorists; we are the People of this great nation and we are the ones who pay your salary, Mister President, Sir. The website where you slander us was paid for BY US. The House you currently live in is paid for BY US. The jet you use to fly across the globe and betray our country AND YOUR OATH is paid for BY US. The private school tuition for your daughters, where you and your ilk have deemed the rest of us unworthy to attend is paid for BY US.

We all have heard the glowing praises in the media and from DC of what an awesome religion Islam is, all the "Religion of Peace" nonsense, and one thing has been on my mind since 9/11: When will the so-called mainstream Muslims denounce the actions of what they claim are fanatic fundamentalists?
Ever since that fateful Tuesday when 3000+ innocent men and women lost their lives on American soil, I have read up on Islam. It is not, at its root, a "peaceful" religion, nor was their prophet Mohammed a particularly nice guy; he was, by any rational person's perspective, a genocidal lunatic. Throughout the Qur'an, Mohammed makes rules for his followers, claiming it as the Will of Allah. He then, almost without fail, does the exact opposite of his own edicts, but that's okay; that's also the Will of Allah, turning this entire religion into one big game of Calvinball. Some of the more "peaceful" edicts? Death to Jews and Christians. The Taqiyya (wherein a Muslim can tell any lie, even denounce Islam, so long as it tricks the enemy.) Forced conversion to Islam on pain of death or Dhimmitude (a form of slavery so oppressive, that many Dhimmis had no choice but to convert.) Female circumcision by clitorectomy. Child molestation. Rape. Murder. Robbery. Beating one's wife, daughter, or sister to death. Stonings. Whippings. Defenestration (the practice of throwing people off buildings.) Mutilation.
All perfectly fine practices, under most circumstances in Islam.
I am sure there are many good people who follow Islam, who harbor no great hatred in their hearts. My kids' pediatrician is one of them. Which makes it even more difficult to understand why Muslims have been so reluctant to shun and denounce those who would commit acts of terror.
And now, finally, it seems we have at least a few brave souls willing to risk their lives to do so. Rima Salha is a woman; in that women are treated as less than cattle in these cultures (and strangely, no outcry from NOW), to dare speak out against al Qaeda is bravery times a thousand. The lovely Ms. Salha makes Audie Murphy look like Ichabod Crane.
And we should all salute this brave lady. Find her e-mail address and send your support, dear readers. Of all the people on this planet, she may be the most deserving.

Keep Your Kids Home From School Day....Sept. 8th.
President No Respect
I must have missed the part in The Constitution where it states that the president can brainwash our kids for the purpose of becoming little propaganda machines.
That's because there isn't one.
As ace so correctly states, if that's what Obama is up to with his "speech to the kids day",he will have crossed yet another line that no president should ever cross. Why will I not be surprised if he does?
Rhetorical.....
Read it and weep, and then keep your kids home from school on that day.
Make it a "teaching moment" for your kids...as in "if the president cannot even salute our flag with respect, then kids, you don't have to listen to a word he says".
After all respect is earned not demanded and we need to protect our kids from the teachers as it is, now that Big Bro is on board it's going to get ugly.
