The blog LGF used to be a conservative leaning blog I am told.
I personally never saw that side of it. By the time I read any of it I found it to be an idiotic and rather mindless mixture of equal parts 7th grade and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
Charles decided who could talk, and who had valid opinions...in other words only people that agreed with him verbatim. It was an appalling display of a very petty bully who had no respect for the concept of free speech. He banned people for stating their own opinions, for having faith, for thinking for themselves. In other words the only difference between him and the owner of Daily Kos was success.
So I wasn't terribly surprised when I read that prior to 9/11 Charles was a liberal.
Oh, no kidding.
Charles became a conservative on 9/11 and he became an expert on what being a conservative meant on 9/12. Frankly, if it takes watching planes fly into buildings and the death of 2,996 of your fellow Americans to become a conservative; perhaps you aren't so much a conservative as you are a cowardly joiner.
Don't get me wrong...many many decent people really did see the light on 9/11....I just don't think Charles was one of them.
And now, as we watch Charles' not-so-slow decent into madness where he sees Nazis everywhere and people of faith are considered "flat earthers" in his perverted view, I find myself having to look away.
After all, only a cretin would enjoy such a spectacle.

It is sad however when someone such as Chuckee leans so far out in left field that he mentally falls off the cliff.

BeenWaitin....personally I don't think Charles was ever very ,shall we say, balanced. He took credit for things he had very little to do with and then slimed the people that did the work.
In other words he is a progressive liberal right down to the bone.

I hadn't looked at that site for a couple of years. Out of curiosity, I took a gander. I had forgotten it was even listed on my "frequent" list. Needless to say, it's no longer there. Wow. Therapy might help, but I kind of doubt it. :-}

Kate....I don' think there is currently a treatment for haters like Charles. And that's what he is...he is a christian-o-phobic and in my book that just is beyond wrong.
He also seems to be one of those sad, sad people that we all know that is jealous of everyone else, and seems to think that if they succeed it somehow diminishes him. Did you read the appalling things he has to say on his site about The Other McCain and just about everyone else? I think the only person he hasn't taken a shot at is Michelle Malkin.....because she would clean his clock.
