Hopenchangin' in Copenhagen! from TFMo!
Finally finished my Lil' O-Bama miniseries Hopenchangin' in Copenhagen! I had to completely redo the final three installments, thanks to my laptop committing seppuku. I've got the whole thing on a temp page; once I get my laptop pulled back from the dark realm, I'll have a better, permanent page up for it on JBYP.

Ghost's son out of the hospital!!
He's still having a bleed in his brain, and he's fighting an infection in his skull. His right knee and shoulder are in very bad shape. He's still having some cognitive trouble, but he's doing better. Right now, they're spending most of their days in various therapies.
Thank you all so much for your prayers. I truly think it made a difference!

I just heard from Ghost. Her son is alive, off the ventilator and breathing on his own. They repaired the fractures to his face, but the skull fracture is still bad, running an hand-span along his left temple. They don't know the extent of the damage to his left eye. He still has bleeding in his brain, and he can talk a little, though most of it isn't making sense yet. From what I gather, he has some degree of awareness, and that is an excellent sign. He goes in for CT scans tomorrow (Sunday). When he was admitted, they gave him the lowest possible score for survival. As best as they can tell, his brain was without oxygen for at least 8 minutes, but the hypothermia slowed him down enough. Best case scenario, he is looking at several months of hospitalization.
He has beaten the odds, so please, continue to pray or send good vibes, or whatever it is your particular belief system does. He's been moved from ICU to Intensive Head Trauma Rehabilitation Unit.

I just got a mail from our dearest Christmas Ghost. Her middle son was in a car accident. His skull and chest were crushed and he's in a coma. They're trying to stabilize him enough for surgery to reduce the swelling around his brain. The prognosis is not good. Please, give a prayer for this young man, and for his family.

I had this one saved for a rainy day, then started thinking that its relevance had decreased to the point where it was unusable. Then I saw this article on Gateway Pundit.**Belated hat tip to Hoss for pointing me in the right direction**
Not even REMOTELY safe for work...and yet, Jennings seems to think that it's perfectly fine for kids as young as TWELVE to be reading this. Jennings is encouraging 12 year olds to read gay porn IN SCHOOL.
In a previous post on Christmas Ghost, one of our fellow right-wing extremists asked (and I've seen this question at LEAST once a day in my web surfing safaris and on TV) why no one in the Obama Regime is vetting his picks. I replied, and I firmly believe this, because of the preponderance of such godawful people now occupying powerful positions in this regime, that they ARE being vetted. It's clear that our "President" is not concerned with the beliefs and past associations of his cadre; all that matters is whether or not they will push his agenda.
Obama can not pass the buck on this one. This is HIS choice of School Czar; a man who ADMITTED that, when told by a MINOR that he'd engaged in a homosexual affair with an older man, in a public restroom, and was continuing a relationship with said man, did not report this statutory rape to the police, notify the parents, or notify his superior AT THE SCHOOL WHERE JENNINGS TAUGHT.
It is not enough that our "President" remove this man. As we saw with Van Jones; even though this self-avowed Communist and 9/11 Troofer was removed from his position as Green Jobs Czar, Obama is still pushing forward with the same things Jones advocated.
Removing people like Jennings and Jones does not solve the problem; it only treats the symptom. For the cause, we have to look no further than the Oval Office. Or the golf course. Or a foreign country where our Commie In Chief is making a fool of himself. Which begs the question: at what point will Obama's actions qualify for impeachment? He's appointed enemies of our country to his circle of advisors. He associates with criminals. He sacrifices our soldiers for political points. He's stolen trillions from the taxpayers. I can't think of a single policy this moron has put forth that hasn't been a disaster. Despite the evidence that the AGW "scientists" have committed fraud, he's STILL going to Copenhagen to sign an AGW treaty that will surrender our nation's sovereignty to foreign governments. He's made no secret that he's owned by the corrupt unions and considers their agenda above all else. He will gleefully sign into law a healthcare bill that will further kill our economy and make it ILLEGAL to not have insurance, in complete defiance to both the spirit and the letter of our Constitution. He's lied about TARP, and all this various "Stimulus" packages. At what point can we say that Obama has committed "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors"?

Why So Serious?
Hello, dear friends. Yes, I'm still alive; I managed to not eat myself into a coma this past Thanksgiving (though tempting), and I have managed to not repeatedly bash my skull into a wall or commit multiple homicides over the utter stupidity going on in the world right now.
I figured that, after so many cartoonmentaries, it was time to once again mount my keyboard pony and ride.
Okay, that sounds weird. Scratch that, put it out of your mind. There is bleach if you need it.
Actually, the main reason I'm typing instead of drawing is the simple fact that I can't top the punchlines being offered in the news. There's only so much funny to be had, you know, and our so-called leaders have been polishing their stand-up, it seems.
Cloward/Piven strategy calls for overloading the system, and our so-called leaders are certainly doing that now; not only with shot-gun-to-the-face legislation but adding a constant barrage of news, making it impossible to focus on any one thing, and increasing the chance that something pretty significant is going to slip by unnoticed.
Not to mention making it nearly impossible for makers of Teh Funneh to latch on to a story, poke fun at it, then move along.
So here I am, writing again. And because there is just so damn much to go through, I'm having to put it in alphabetical order.
Afghanistan. Remember way back in the day, years and years ago this past year, when Obama said that A-stan was the good war? Remember when he hand-picked Gen. McChrystal to go over there, assess the situation, and tell him what was needed? Remember when McChrystal did that, then Obama ignored him for nearly three months? Remember how McChrystal said he needed 60K troops, 40K at the BAREST minimum as soon as possible, then Obama, after months of ho-humming, decided to trickle him 30K? Remember that? Ahhh, memories...a word of advice, MISTER PRESIDENT: when all your enemies are laughing at you, when your allies are ready to throttle you, and you have MICHAEL MOORE calling you a pussy, then maybe it's time to realize YOU HAVE SCREWED UP. Stop using our troops as political pawns, stop sucking up to the enemy, and start DOING YOUR DAMN JOB, JACKASS. We had a saying back when I was but a wee lad; SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT. If you are sincere about winning this war (has Obama ever actually SAID anything about winning the war? I must have been dozing) then send our troops whatever the hell they ask for, then DOUBLE IT. I've always been a firm believer that there is no such thing as overkill. There is only just-enough-kill, or not-enough-kill. If you aren't serious about winning this thing, then withdraw. You won't look any more like a tool and a coward than you already do, and our soldiers won't have to risk their lives for the sake of your PR.

ClimateGate. Pardon me whilst I clean up all the coffee that just shot out my nose as I laugh. Thousands of e-mails (either hacked or legally obtained, there's arguments for both) stating in plain English that some of THE most prominent "scientists" that have been pushing the AGW agenda INTENTIONALLY faked data when it was discovered that their theory didn't hold water. Said e-mails also describe how these same slugs sought to "redefine" peer review and squash the publication of any and all dissent. Babs Boxer, D-CA, has stated that she is far more interested in investigating the possibility that these mails were hacked, rather that investigating the fact, as per their own words, that these hacks have been perpetuating a fraud that has cost billions and stands to cost hundreds of trillions. Priorities, MA'AM. The Left is scrambling to cover for these douchenozzles, trying to make the story about ANYTHING but the story, insisting that we trust the scientists and trust the data, even though both have been found untrustworthy, and of course, our Fearless Leader has once again flipped and will be going to Copenhagen, in hopes of signing over our sovereignty. And the hits keep coming; ClimateGate appears to include Czar John Holdren and NASA as well. And the left-tards still seem clueless.

HOPERcare. Shoving a vote through at 8pm on a Saturday...there's your transparency; I think it's pretty obvious to everyone what they're doing. One idiot troll on our friend Teach's site actually asked how the new $400 BILLION in cuts to Medicare is going to give less service at a lower quality for seniors. AARP is actually backing this now, which only goes to prove what many have said over the years: AARP does NOT represent senior citizens. It merely takes money from them to push their own agenda, the needs of the elderly be damned. The Left has also backpedaled on mammograms. Earlier this year, we were told OH GOD YOU HAVE TO GET A MAMMOGRAM NOW! THE SOONER THE BETTER!! A few months later, it was Eh, not so much. You can wait 'til you're fifty. As I recall, Obama was a big, big fan of preventative care; he and his comrades used that talking point quite a bit in the early days of HOPERcare. You'd think they'd be nicer to boobs, considering that's what these people are acting like. And of course, NO ONE has been able to successfully explain how adding several MILLION people to an already-bogged medical system with no provisions for more healthcare providers in an economy that can best be described as HOLY CRAP is going to help matters. And aren't we all pleased as punch to know that Mary Landrieu can be bought and sold? At least she's admitted it.
