Call For Calm
We are at a very crucial point in our nation's history, Dear Reader. You've heard that said more than once in the past year, I'm sure, but you may not realize just how thin a line we tread. I hope to adequately explain exactly where we stand, what it means to all of us, as a nation, and what must be done between now and the November elections.
Martial Law is a power granted to the President. In a time of great emergency it can be employed to facilitate necessary action; rather than be discussed for days and weeks, the President is given the power, coupled with his command of the Military, the ability to make immediate decisions to achieve immediate results. Negatively, the President wields supreme power; there is little anyone can do to blunt his will and there is little he can not do. He ceases to be an elected official and becomes, for lack of a better term, a dictator.
In January 2010, President Obama signed an Executive Order, establishing a “Board of Governors” in the event of a national emergency. Reading this proclamation, one can not help but picture Obama as king, and these ten Governors as lords over their fiefdoms. All people mentioned in this bill are appointed, not elected. These Governors must answer to Co-Chairs, also appointed by Obama, and they in turn answer to various cabinet members, again, appointed by Obama. The American people will have only as much say as Obama wishes to grant them, in his mercy.
Another aspect of Martial Law is the suspension of all elections, further denying the average citizen any say whatsoever in the doings of our government. Should Obama choose to completely remove the Constitution, there is no one to stop him, nor any means to remove him from office, short of his willingness to step down, or his death.
All the pieces are in place. He only needs an excuse.
Unless you've been living in a cave for the past year, you've no doubt noticed a few very disturbing trends. We have a President openly mocking and insulting a large swath of the American people. We have a Speaker of the House calling us Nazis. We have various politicians calling us racist if we dare to disagree with anything the President does or says. We have a complicit media, faithfully attacking the average citizen for the crime of exercising their First Amendment rights. We have the head of the Department of Homeland Security sending out memos that label such people as potential terrorists. We have Left-wing radicals seeking to infiltrate Tea Party rallies in hopes of framing the Partiers with outrageous statements and behavior. We have bills and legislation being passed in open defiance of the will of the people, and in direct conflict with the Constitution and our Bill of Rights.
If it seems like the Left is trying to pick a fight, you are absolutely correct. There is no other logical conclusion; they wish to provoke we on the Right. To what end? To violence and illegal activity. They want, they desperately need the Tea Party to act out. THIS is the excuse Obama is looking for to lower the boom on our nation.
We must be extremely careful with out Tea Party Rallies. One of the likeliest sources of trouble comes from the infiltrators. At the Tax Day Rallies, we did a very effective job of singling these people out and nullifying their threat. Do not, for one second, believe that they are finished, or that they will be so easily put aside.
We must check EVERY sign that comes to the rally. This is a daunting task, nearly impossible, but absolutely vital. If an infiltrator is spotted in the field, we must form a human wall between that person and any camera. Lock arms and surround him, with your backs to him. Obscure his sign with your own, and drown out his voice with your own.
If one of our number appears to be getting a little too agitated, you must take it upon yourself to counsel him to calm. Explain to him what is at stake, as I have detailed here. Offer him a bottle of water, recite Scripture to him, do whatever you can to diffuse the situation as quickly as possible.
If you are bringing a sign, please use a peaceful message. Pictures depicting the President as Hitler and the like are not going to help. We need a positive message. One suggested to me is “Our HOPE is our CONSTITUTION.” If you can not think of a positive message, then I respectfully suggest a simple American Flag. There are few things more inspiring.
I understand, Dear Reader. You are angry and fearful, you don't know what tomorrow will bring, but if today and yesterday are any indicator, it's going to be worse. We have lost jobs, savings, income, homes, security, and prosperity. Our nation is polarized as greatly as we were in the Civil War, perhaps more so. The government has us neatly boxed in; if we do nothing, they win. If we continue as we have, we're ignored and they win. If we intensify our protests and begin acts of civil disobedience, Obama declares Martial Law, and they win. We are frustrated, and the walls are closing in.
It is time to think outside the box.
What is the one unifying trait of every politician, particularly of Obama and his supporters?
Ego.
These people are trained to deal with angry crowds. They can handle boos and hisses and shouts of rage without batting an eye. But there is one thing they can not stand, can not allow, and can not fight against without looking like fools: ridicule.
Imagine Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid, or Barney Frank, or even the President himself, facing a massive crowd of people that are laughing at every word uttered. Think about this, Dear Reader, and you will realize it too, that these people DEMAND that you take them seriously. To laugh at them is the gravest insult you can give them, and one that can not be construed as violent. With this one action, you can throw our opposition off their game and forestall Obama's desire to declare Martial Law.
We must buy ourselves time, Dear Reader. We must stall this government until Election Day. Our opponents will seize on even the flimsiest excuse to strip us of our Constitution and our freedoms. We must not give them that opportunity. We must maintain calm at our rallies, we must further nullify the threat of the infiltrators, and we absolutely must ensure that we retain the ability to vote the enemies of our Constitution out of office in November. The stakes have never been higher, nor has the deck been so thoroughly stacked against us. We must persevere, we WILL overcome.
