Have you ever noticed that when ever these Leftists insist that we, as a nation, simply MUST do something ridiculously insane and expensive, it's never with THEIR time, money, or resources?
Morons like Couric insist that we keep the illegals, treat them with kid gloves, don't look crossways at them as they systematically screw up our country...and yet the only involvement they will have with them is as hired slaves?
This is the Party of Do As I Say, Not As I Do. YOU accept these illegals, YOU pay for them, YOU sacrifice your child's education for their kids, YOU pay higher taxes to cover them, YOU pay higher medical costs to make out for the dine-and-dashers at the emergency rooms, YOU shell out extra to put people who are not citizens of this country on welfare.
Oh, the horror; the very idea of a police officer pulling over a speeder and asking for ID. I haven't been pulled over too often (not NEARLY as often as I should) but every single time, and in every state it's happened, the first thing out of the officer's mouth is “License and Insurance, please.”
If the guy doesn't provide ID and has a foreign accent, the police officer can now ask “Are you in this country legally?” (Psst...if the guy is lily-white and has a French accent, HE GETS ASKED). Police are also allowed to demand ID of the passengers in the vehicle as well; I've had this happen to me a few times. If those guys start speaking a foreign language or with a heavy accent, and aren't providing ID, then GASP! It's possible that they aren't from here! And if they aren't from here, DOUBLE GASP! They might possibly be here illegally! DUH!!!
And don't be fooled, this has NOTHING to do with race; that's just the Left's default setting when they can't put forth a legitimate argument. Free advice: the next time one of these dipsticks calls you a racist for supporting Arizona's new immigration laws, just smile at them, pat them on the head if they are in arms' reach, look them in the eye, and say “I promise you, on my very soul, that if we ever have 20 million blond-haired, blue-eyed Norwegians invading our country, bringing drug wars across our borders, causing high-speed chases, stealing identities, sucking up tax revenue without paying into the system, demanding we all accommodate their language, forcing our schools to dumb down their curriculum, spitting on our laws and our flag, insisting that we should hand a third of the country over to them, increasing gang activity, and driving the murder, rape, and theft rates through the roof, they too will be subject to these immigration laws.”
